I know it's an DIPA which aren't supposed to be cellared but could this one possibly be a candidate? I'm talking between 6 months and a year. Thoughts?

Buy 3. Drink 1 now, 1 in 6 months and 1 in a year. I'm guessing since it has already been barrel aged it would be best now but there is only 1 way to find out.

Edit: Already barrel aged and an IPA so that is where I'm getting best now, not like a Barrel Aged Impy Stout that may be better with time.

Based on the other BA IPAs I've had this one would be best right before it went into the barrel.

Don't. Considering its not going to be super available I don't think it's worth the risk. You even said yourself that it's a DIPA and to me that is all it takes to talk me out of aging it. That being said, I sure hope I get to try some

Why would you want to? I mean, as promising as faded barrel taste sound....
