When you're at Hash House and they tell you the wait is like an hour and a half, just walk down to Babycakes and enjoy yo'self.

Anybody know why Alesmith changed how they are identifying the vintages? Last year's release was described as 2009 BA Speedway based on when it was barreled and this year's release seems to be identified based on its release. Thoughts? I am missing something?

Wow, totally forgot about this. Freaked out for a minute, then went online to see if they were still available about half an hour ago. AND THEY WERE! Only bought 2 though...then regretted not buying all 4. So went on there about 5 minutes ago to snag two more, and SOLD OUT! I must have been real lucky to get the first 2.

I skipped the bottles this year. Decided to just drink it fresh at the brewery.

I think we all deserve a collective pat on the back for not hyping this up ahead of time with OMFGH SPEEDWAY STOUT@#!$(U#@($!.

Also, someone should give jamex a whack on the head for breaking the silence. (j/k bud.)

Was this some kind of official policy or law that is written somewhere? I too flaked out on picking up my bottles, for some reason thinking I could do it on my trip down to Lost Abbey's Barrel Night. I don't mean to be a pushy, entitled dick about it, but if it's clear and everyone expects that they are *supposed* to give money back for unclaimed bottles, I'd be happy to accept the refund.

But I'd have been *WAY* happier still just to be able to the beers that I had originally paid for.

They should think about refunding the money as well. I got double charged.

I'm with you on the beers part. This is what I was basing my legality thoughts on: http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/legal_guides/s-11.shtml

Not sure how it translates to goods with a set pickup time.

That's actually what AleSmith wrote on the side of the cases for BA Decadence and I couldn't tell you how many people at the brewery when I went to pick up my bottles asked why the beer in those cases were bad....haha.

BASS hands? That sounds like something Brett and Mo would be totally down with.

I think with SDBW going on it helped keep everyone busy and not f'ing around BA looking for something to post.

I don't know if one can "win" at BASS hands, but if so, I'm totally gonna win.
