That actually isnt #1, thats Barrel Noir. I made a similar mistake earlier. Not to disparage Barrel Noir, it reminds me of KBS albeit more expensive even with cost of trading.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasnt going to buy barrel noir n e ways but I thought Barrel Noir was #1. Well they did have #3 when I went there. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try #4. I was also looking for ruin10 but they are getting it next week.

Whole Foods Laguna Niguel has both #3 and #4. Lots of them, 11.99 each.

I actually like 4 better than 3. The initially shipments to the bay were about the same, but there was more 3 that arrived after. I need more #1 that one was my favorite from all 5 beers

Just left Whole Foods in Pasadena where I bought a #2 (strangely), a #3 and a #4. They still had 4 or 5 left of each.

The beer guy at WF Redwood City told me last week that Almanac changed distributors right before the FR 3 & 4 release, so there has been some slight logistical kinks when it was released. Hope that means we'll be seeing more of it soon...

So glad I grabbed some of these for $6.50 a piece after seeing all these other prices.

I agree. I had some on tap at Beer Revolution over the weekend. I don't know if it's still on. The bartender that looks like a bear was just putting it on when I arrived.

    Trappist Provisions?

I've never seen them price bottles below what other stores do. Do you think it was a mistake?

I can safely say that is below the price they paid for them as a shop. They probably charged the same price per bottle that they sell the Almanac Honey Saison and Pale Ale at.

Those guys look like they're from LA, so they probably mean the new Provisions Market down there.

Also, the Trappist Provisions sucks with their pricing. They overcharge on pretty much everything, so if they had bottles of Farmers Reserve they would probably be selling them for around $15 each.

Ah right. 'Location: California' always seems like an inadequate description.

And yeah, Trappist's ridiculous prices are probably the only reason they can maintain their diversity of selection.

Yeah sorry, I was referring to Provisions Market in Orange County. Formerly Bruery Provisions, they just reopened under new ownership and their bottle prices are all over the place.
