Do you have a picture of this solution? I'm having a little difficulty picturing it.

Really? As soon as he said the parts I knew where it was going. It might help to know that this is the valve:

So when you have carbonated Lost Abbey beers you pour them into a growler and use this device to carbonate them?

I actually have a 500ml food grade plastic Nalgene bottle with the valve stem setup that I have used for this purpose in the past.

That's it. Standard valve stems for a car. Send me a message if you want one or two. I bought a 50 pack and have many left over.

Thanks. I tried calling the pub last night but I couldn't get through. Not happy about it, but this saves me the 3 hour drive from LA.

Hahaha no worries, the shipping cost wouldn't be worth it, I think when I bought them for a pneumatic cannon they were like $2. Plus I have a deficit of lids compared to glass right now, can't really justify destroying one for this purpose, especially when most of my growlers that I actually use are flip-tops.

Thanks for the offer though, and that's a neat idea.

If you dig a little you can find Nelson around town. I spotted it at a spot yesterday & they had a bunch.

Hell it'll probably be gone tomorrow. Unannounced on a Tuesday, this the way to release it; even though it means I'm never going to get another bottle.

One of the ladies behind the bar (don't know her name, but she's the super-bubbly, friendly, dark-haired one) said that they bottled more than last time. So, there's that.

And, yeah. I was the only one in there at 5PM. Hope everybody gets their fair share!

I am going to be making the trip down from the Bay Area to the SD area / Alpine (for the first time) on Thursday and was wondering if they sell bottles in the Pub or if I will have to get there before 6pm when the brewery closes to get bottles. Hopefully the Exponential Hoppiness lasts till then!

Didn't you just say you wore that shirt today? You need to change shirts more often.

Was he referring to Keene Idea? Silent release and I think was their last silent one. Think it lasted 6 hours though and it was growler fills. Totally different but he might have been talking about that.

Now that I think about it I might have been referring to Keene Idea. Regardless, I like the silent releases.
