American Craft Beer Fest: Fun Facts (2012)

The 5th annual ACBF (June 1 & 2, 2012) is the largest celebration of American craft beer on the East Coast. The first was held on June 20 & 21, 2008.

ACBF features over 550 craft beers and will spend upwards of $100,000 on them.

It takes over 400 volunteers to run ACBF.

To celebrate the five year milestone, BeerAdvocate founders and brothers Jason and Todd Alström and the brewers at Harpoon Brewery brewed a collaborative beer during American Craft Beer Week on May 16. Swing by booth #56 to try their ACBF 5-Year Anniversary Beer.

Over 120 American breweries from 25 states will participate at ACBF. MA (41), NY (11), ME (10), NH (9), CA (8), VT (6), CO (5), CT (5), NC (4), MD (3), PA (3), KY (2), OR (2), RI, DC, DE, HI, IL, LA, MO, NJ, UT, WA, WI and WV (1 each).
