If you're close to Indiana, pick up Hunter from 18th street. Very thick. It's a meal.

Had some Elysian Dragonstooth Stout recently and was not disappointed. Also GD Yeti, as others have recommended. Yeti over Dragonstooth.

Definitely agree with speedways and yeti. Dragons milk would be a good intro to barrel aged beers if you haven't had any yet, and if you already like BA beers try to get a bourbon county that beer is very thick.

Speedway and Yeti for sure. Don't agree with Ten Fidy -a great beer, but thinner mouthfeel compared to Expedition and FIS.

You didn't specify if locally available in your area. When talking thickness - bottles of this should come with a fork and a knife.

When I saw the typo in the thread title, I assumed the OP meant to type "thin" and I thought, "this will be an interesting thread."

Oh yeah I just noticed that I messed up the thread title. How do I edit a thread title?

    So thick mouthfeel.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I live in Michigan and I have yet to try dragons milk. I have the chocolate and coffee reserve in my basement. Thanks for the suggestions. Might have to find some yeti in Michigan.

and if you are looking for a super thick one that you will have to trade for (also a beer I really don't like) don't think you will find one thicker than Dark Lord, it finishes at 1.074 SG

That's what that "REPORT" option is for - in your OP, #1, hit "REPORT" - type in your request for a correction of the subject line typo when the REPORT POST black box appears.

Agree with cavedave. First thing that came to mind was the dark lord cartoon of beer coming out like cranberry jelly. Should also come with a diabetes warning.

Came here to say this. For a non-BA beer (hell, even for a BA one!), Dark Lord is about as thick as they come. If I recall, Bells' 30th anniversary stout is pretty damn thick, too. Darkness is very thick as well, but you'll probably have some trouble grabbing a bottle (people are much more divided on Dark Lord, so it tends to trade lower).
