    Liquor World in Porter Square got some Anchorage A Deal With The Devil (Batch #2) in this morning.

    $40/bottle, but I remembered it as one of my top 2-3 beers from The Festival 2013 and splurged. About half a dozen left around 5pm. Apparently going fast.

    Dude, you rock. I'm never in Porter, but have a meeting with a wedding catering here tonight. Got her a few minutes early and snagged a bottle while waiting for my fianceé.

    this one seemed to sneak in under everybody's radar. marty's in newton also had a case. asking around other stores, and it sounds like something that wasn't offered on shelton bros' distribution list way ahead of time like most of their other items.

    Cooper's Corner in Florence got a case. They said only 14 cases total allotted for the entire state. $40 a bottle there too.

    This is one of my favorites. Period.

    That being said, try Downtown in Somerville. I copped mine there and I was the first to do so according to them.

    I just bought some Anchorage Galaxy White IPA at Bee's Knees in Boston yesterday. I didn't see any Deal With the Devil, but I wasn't really looking for it either. You might want to give them a call.

    for whatever reason, lots of shelton bros stuff in MA (where they're based, no less!) is pricier than the same exact thing in other places, like maine.

    BTW, it was a $30 release at the brewery, and here in upstate NY was $32.99. As usual, Sheltons are fucking over their home market.

    Could be just the fact that MA is expensive for no reason or it's a markup by the store or distributor (which is not Shelton). Probably a combination of all those.

    Sure there is a reason but compared to the rest of the country Boston is incredibly expensive for buying alcohol.

    I can't wait to see this beer on a shelf, consider it for a little more than zero seconds, and pass it up!

    (And I love barleywines and summer is when I like to stock up on them. Shit, is this getting crazy expensive or what!?)

    Maybe I'll buy a scratch ticket first. If I win, then I'll buy it.
