I love lists!!!!! Had 14 of the 25....I noticed several sours (yuk) and Sam Adams. That surprised me

Forgetting what's "the best", I wouldn't argue against any of those beers except for Victory's Home Grown Lager.

Funny, as I was reading down the list, I'm thinking its really hitting alot of top quality beers and then that 1 beer (Home Grown) seemed odd. If they were going to go with a Victory lager, Prima would have been a much better choice from Victory.

Glad to see dortmunder Gold on there - that beer is severely underrated and underappreciated.

It's rare to see a best beer list without SNPA on it, It look like no brewery got more than one listing. In any case it's one of the better lists I've read.

Pretty interesting list, especially from that source.

My favorite part was them showing the new and old Tank 7 logos. I love that beer, but not sure it deserves 2 of the 25 spots (yes, the other listed Alesmith, but still showed Tank 7).

They also have an article about Utopias, which was pretty interesting, as I didn't know it was against the law to sell it in Missouri. That would explain why I've never seen it. I'm surprised it isn't against some law in Kansas, a short jaunt away. Especially considering their overall laws regarding alcohol.

As lists go it's not bad though a little heavy (pun intended) on the dark brews.

Weird, it's almost as if they didn't look at Beeradvocate, Rate Beer, or Untappd and just went around the country drinking beers and told us which one's they liked the best.

What an odd way to decide which beers are the "best" in the country.

No quibbles about this list from where I'm sitting. Based on the quality of the ones I've had, the rest might be well worth tracking down. Nicely done!

I feel like they didn't want to make it all hazy IPAs and coffee stouts, which I think is a fine impulse, but they went a little too far with it. Boston Lager is a fine beer and a landmark in American brewing but come on.

Doesn't help that they didn't even hint at the criteria or process for creating this list, although it's probably safe to say that the primary goal was to produce the list as quickly and cheaply as possible...

It looks like a nice varied list to me. Every beer I know deserves to be on some list. I might quibble that I like some better, but I would be happy if my fridge were stocked with that 25. Extra points for having Focal instead of Heady on the list.

'List' and 'best' are obviously going to be controversial, but out of those I have had, I cannot argue against this outlet much.

Sam adams is alright, but nowhere near the top 25 American beers.
