It's been out from the local distibutor in CT and store wanted another for me to try. What is a good alternative that is out in CT? Place is great at getting stuff just need a few without guessing.
    Thanks in advance.

I never had leviathan, but it's a hoppy red right? Try Oskar Blues G-Knight.

Leviathan is a series, not a single beer. There was an Imp Red in the series, but I'm not sure it is one of the year round offers or one in the same as the IPA. The IPA is pretty solid from what I remember, but can't recollect enough to offer any comparisons.

Smutty Big A? Not sure if that is around in CT, but maybe a good alternate.

For locals... Smutty Big A is good. In CT you can probably get Gandhi Bot from NEBCO more easily. I'm a huge Wachusett Larry fan, but I'm not sure if you get it in CT.

Lots of nice DIPA's get distributed to New England. I'm not sure exactly what CT gets, but likely Victory Hop Wallop, Southern Tier (multiple), Dogfish Head 90 minute, to name a few that are typically easily found.

A little off topic, but I read in Yankee Brew News that the Big A is no longer going to be brewed year-round. It sounds like they're adding a new series (I guess); in addition to the Big Beers, seasonals, Short Batch and standard lineup, they'll be doing 3-4 (I think) different, rotating specialty beers a year available in 4-packs. It sounds like it will be Big A, Noonan Black IPA, and Vunderbar pilsner to start.

If you don't mind bombers Long Trail Double IPA is on shelves now.

Stone Ruination, Long Trail Brewmaster's DIPA, Southern Tier Unearthly IPA, DFH 90min IPA are all solid options.
