Us anybody seen Bigfoot around yet?
Haven't seen it anywhere and my beer guy hasn't said anything either.
287 Liquors in Fort Collins I believe.
It is all over Northern Colorado. Picked up a 4 pack at Wilburs on New Years Eve.
It seems like Sierra Nevada stuff always lands very late in the Metro area.
This is the first year it's through Coors, so we'll see how they handle it
I swear I saw a yeti in my basement... yuk yuk yuk.
I'll be more interested in the BA Bigfoot distribution and how that is handled.
Cork n Bottle in Monument had some - 9$/4pk. No BA sightings though.
Plenty down in the springs. Opened 2012 and 2013 last night. I was reminded that it is a truly stellar beer.
coaltrain in colorado springs had some recently, i can check today to make sure they still do
The BA version is out in CO.
Not in Denver.
C Springs got it. Coaltrain.
for how much
It was 16 bucks with tax. Cheaper than I thought it would be.
Don't want to miss the regular and especially not the BA version, any word on Denver landings, especially south Denver any time soon?
I've been on the Coors guy for weeks now. Nothing yet
Maybe if you get off of him, he can get back to deliveries.
My kind of humor...
Still have yet to see it in Northern CO, if High Country is doing the distributing then it all makes sense, but still disappointing. High Country Beverage is terrible in regards to their sales reps and distribution. They have access to such great stuff but are so terrible at getting it on the shelves.
Per Coaltrain, they sold out in very little time and only had one of the four cases that made it to the springs.
Anyone see the BA Bigfoot in the metro area yet? I heard only 20 cases and each store gets one case.
I heard 1 case and it is going to argonaut. Hope my source is wrong
Haven't seen anything, but I heard those same numbers.
I hear it's higher than that. I really hope it's true.
it is in the Dallas area, for what that is worth. Last year it hit the East Coast months before we got it in Alaska, which is actually closer and has a solid SN distribution infrastructure. I think they roll it out in waves, not all at once. But just going on my anecdotal observations.
This is what I heard as well, from sources in the distribution industry.
Yup my local store sold out in a few hours, only six bottles total.
Any word on which liquor stores are getting BA Bigfoot in the Denver area? Don't really want to call all over...
Apparently almost no one. Only one store has divulged they got a single case. Not sure where the other 19 cases disappeared to. Even the stores that seem to get the smaller distribution beers said they did not get any and didn't plan on getting any.
I've heard the same. Mile High isn't getting any because they aren't a "top 20" Sierra Nevada account, that's how I've heard its been distributed. Not sure how to figure out which are top 20 however...
I was talking to Mike about it in another conversation, and Sierra I bet has a very unexpected Top 20 accounts considering its unique role in the scene. It actually will be kinda fun finding out who sells the most SNPA.
I'm putting $5 on DaveCo.
Come and gone from Argonaut as of 3:30pm
Just discovered Bubbles in Castle Rock should have it tomorrow.
Go get some on Saturday at Lukas:
I called at 1:30pm and was told they didn't have it yet. Did you call about it? Were you there? Did you get a bottle? I don't really understand how I could have stalked Argo any more without camping out, lol.
I went there at 3:30 yesterday after someone else told me he was going to get one. No spot on the shelf, beer guy said it had come and gone and they'd only gotten a case, I didn't get one. I think they may have taken names so that all of the bottles were spoken for in advance and never hit the shelf.
The non BA version is at a couple stores in Loveland
