I took some pics from my phone that I'll try and get on here soon, but did anyone take some pics from the Founders KBS release? My first time at this event and it was SPECTACULAR! I'm still waiting for the headache to go away though...
Here is what I came home with:

I probably will keep "Keep my KBS" actually... Ha ha! It will be lovely to open from time to time. As for the right side, the ZD was a SPECTACULAR first try for me. Thanks to "The Purdue dude" on Sat! I'm anxiously waiting to try the others soon.

Some people were coming down hard on this event, but it was a LOT of fun for me. It was like Black Friday but spent while enjoying some of the best beer from around the country! If I go next year, getting the KBS at the end will just have to be a bonus on top of spending a great night, finding new friends and getting some great sips of great beer. Some I may not get to ever sip again.

Thankfully, so far no photos of me puking all over myself. I'm such an embarassment. Sorry to all who witnessed or had to help.

Oh that was you??? Ha ha! No seriously, I'll have to say, that was one sight I wish I could remove from my memory. The guy I saw covered with it standing there shivering in 20 degree weather... Unfortunately, some people didn't have quite as good of a time... Funny, it wasn't so far from that table either!!!

oh, I had a great time. I passed out and when I woke up, I was back home in Indiana. My great friends ensured that I left with my KBS and that I got home safe. Still sorry to all. I promise to be better.

I've got some videos that I'll post a link to later on. For now though I found this pair of gloves on the road towards the end of the event. They seem pretty nice so if their owner happens to be a BA let me know haha.

The only photo I took was from instagram from inside the bus station. I really should have taken more. The point in the picture in focus was probably about the cutoff point of those who arrived at 6:15am or later.

Take solace in the fact that you weren't the only one, I saw plenty of guys looking pretty rough. Don't sweat it, just remember to eat and drink plenty of water next time. We've all been there.

Sweet Baby Jesus the line wrapped all the way to the front of the brewery by 6:15!? That's mildly disturbing.

After an incredibly long day of drinking, talking, freezing, and trading... this is what I walked away with. I'm pretty damn excited (especially because I was able to get multiples of a couple of these (NN, Columbus, White Rajah). It's gonna be a great next couple of weeks trying it all -- If you're in Chicago and want in let me know!

Oh, and that expedition is a 2007 (thanks a million Ryan/genuinedisciple)!

That about sums up my experience. I did enjoy the morning bottle share though once the sun started shining. Had a lot of great things and hung out with a bunch of friends. It was still too damn cold and you won't see me doing an overnight beer release ever again. That is, until I start bringing the propane fueled heating stand like the one near the front of the line, fucking genius.

If I ever own a brewery I'm doing all limited releases on Christmas Eve. Then we'll find out who's really dedicated.

You're right as well, propane tanks are fucking genius.
