Picked up my 2013 RS allocation from the Bruery this past week. I live out of state so have no way of getting them earlier. I drank a Sour in the Rye with Kumquat in the summer that was secured by my brother...it was really good, very flavorful, really nice expample of a beautifly balanced sour. So, I picked up my allocations and the first bottle of Sour in the Rye with Kumquats I opened was borderline a drainpour. The nice juicy summer flavors were long, long gone....what was left was a somewhat nasty sour with a really weird metallic aftertaste. Opened another bottle...same thing. No fruit flavors at all. Anybody having similar experiences, or do I just have multiple bad bottles....?

I had a bottle a couple months ago and it still had huge fruit flavor. Very good stuff.

Had one a few months back as well and thought it was great. Not sure it would fall that hard, that fast.

I had it recently and it doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be.

Noticed some reviews commenting on the weird metallic aftertaste.

Had one tonight - still fantastic. Might be my favorite beer from them in the last two or three years. I'd like to downvote your comment into oblivion.

Had one a couple days ago and did not notice a single off flavor IMO.

I opened my last bottle last week and was disappointed as well.
I remembered thinking it was my favourite Bruery sour offering this past year and was definitely let down with the apparent fall off.

Exactly...yeah...I opened one in the summer and it could have been the best sour I ever had...really, really nice! But the two I opened last week were disappointing to say the least....I was just trying to inform people that if you 'em, drink 'em now, cause they are going downhill.

I've had several throughout the past eight months, and all were dead on perfect. My last one was had just two weeks ago, noticed no off flavors at all. Tried with the base and peach, all three were excellent.
