Anyone been to the Ipswich Brewpub?

    I *just* finally found a bottle this afternoon! Even more excited to try it now after your review.

    And yeah, the Route 1A didn't have ABV on it either. I wonder why they shy away from providing that?

    They started filling growlers a coupla weeks back. Right now I think it's only for those who attended the Growler League event, which I did. Folks were stoked about the Zumatra Stout - I have yet to taste it.

    Zumatra is their Oatmeal Stout base with coffee added, same base beer

    Since I seem to have appointed myself the Ipswich town crier, I thought people might like to know that they now have their cask program up and running. They say they'll be cracking a new one every Thursday night and presumably selling it until it runs out.

    No word on whether it will be special brews or just cask versions of existing beers.

    Town crier update:

    They're going to have a 6 tap takeover of Clown Shoes beers at the brewpub from March 29th to April 12th. They'll have crowlers, specialty bombers, and schwagg too.

    Seems like a good excuse to get back up there.

    Haven't finalized it yet but on April 8th Dan Lipke (head brewer) and I (Label Artist) will be there. Doing a "meet the brewer and artist" thing. Just nailing down the times right now but will most likely be between 1-4PM.
