Drinking better than last year I thought.
The only benefit is shipping it, since shipping 1 bomber is probably lighter than 2-12oz. Then again, I'd prefer 16oz cans to anything else. One can only dream of 16oz cans of NN.
I was underwhelmed with this years version. Did they change the formula? Less malty backbone and they took off the 93 IBU's on the label. Still a great ipa but not like last years. I do understand that it is a agricultural product and there are to be some variables. Anyone else?
what are folks seeing for bottle dates? Sixer in the fridge picked up on Saturday was bottled 2/3/14. Curious what other folks might have, if there is any difference
Last year sixers were $11-13 (most stores closer to $13), so pretty much the same price.

DeBuca's in Raynham, MA supposedly got it in over the weekend. I did not personally verify this as a fact, but they put it on FaceBook so it must be true
Bauer's on Newbury has it. 2 6 pack limit per customer.
I agree with this as well. Im on my 3rd 6 pack of it.
Well done. Only grabbed a 6 pack on Friday as part of a larger beer haul. Thought to myself after I had finished it that it was one of the easiest, tastiest, and fastest 6 packs I'd consumed in recent memory. My next thought was that I needed to get more the next time I am out and about.
After stumbling upon a huge whiskey tasting I had no clue about, grabbed a case at Julio' s yesterday for $45.99 (sixers were $11.99).
Marty's in Newton has a lot. 20 cases or something. $13.49 per 6 pack.
Anyone in central Ma like the Worcester area see this around wanted to pick some up tonight after work ?
I couldn't agree more. Tastes totally different, not in a good way.
I'm loving it this year. Better than the two previous years imo & closest to the original beer I remember.
Lincoln Liquors in Billerica- $12.29 per six-pack 2/7/14 bottle date.
I got a 6-pack at the Lynnfield Whole Foods on Thursday for $13.
Am I the only one that loses their shit when someone calls NN an IPA? I'm a little high strung lately.
Acton Wine and Spirits has it as well as West Concord Liquors. Both great shops.
My annual Wegmans Nugget Nextar pic
It was bigger last year lol
I have to admit I'm starting to look forward to your pic.
It was. I counted around 100 cases last year. (I know, I need to get a life).
Had it on tap at Sunset last night, loved it...Have yet to try it bottled, will try it this week
Picked up a 6 pack at Blanchard's in West Roxbury. They didn't have much, maybe 6 cases or so (visible anyways). $12.99. I tried the first two with a friend and thought it was really tasty. I'm not sure if I would rank it quite as highly as the cumulative average of this site, but I can see how it could get there.
I wouldn't say I lost my shit, but my right cheek twitched involuntarily.
Troegs is canning now. I just imagine that Nugget Nectar in a can would be tremendous.
I saw perpetual in tall cans recently...I need to revisit Troegs, was never impressed till NN on tap last night. Will revisit some others
I facebooked with Troegs' last week. Claimed it was the exact same recipe. YRMV
2/3/14 bottles were sublime
2/14/14 bottles just did not taste the same...maybe because the cases were warm? Hard to believe but the fresher bottles tasted worse...
We have a good amount at The Vin Bin in Hopkinton if you are out and about and need some.
Don't know which bottling date I got but I thought it taasted like they used stale hops. Dirt, lemon tea, and a little bit of cheese. Anyone is welcome to the 5 pack I wont drink.
Bought some yesterday but couldnt find a date on the bottle. On tap it was amazing, not as good in the bottle I had last night
