Anything on tap or in stores that I should check out? What about out at NG?
Last weekend was Capital's annual Bockfest -- what that means for this weekend is that the Maibock and Blonde Doppelbock ought to be readily available everywhere.
Has Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout made it there yet?
Anyone going to Yonder Mountain String Band saturday night?
Central Waters BBBW and Peruvian Morning were both at Woodmans West as of two days ago. I bet Riley's still has them as well.
My buddy at Badger (who is owned by Riley's) said CW BBBW was gone?
There was plenty CW Peruvian, BBBW, and BBS around town this past Saturday - I stopped by Woodmans (west), Steve's on University, and Riley's. Other than that, NG Cherry Stout is out now.
I'm going to Yonder on Saturday after I go to New Glarus and Ale Asylum. It's gonna be an awesome day!
See you at the show WITTBEER
Any one heard about the CW Cherry Stout? Last I heard it was to be released in February.
Aside from what was mentioned, NG's recent barleywine is still floating around. Capital just released Manoomator wild rice dopplebock. I haven't tried that yet, but no one does dopplebocks as good as Capital. CW posted on Facebook on the 21st that they were bottling their bourbon barrel cherry stout. Not sure how that correlates to mass distribution, though.
Oso Hop Whoopin just hit the shelves in Madison. First time being bottled, very fresh and worth checking out.
SixPack6, where have you seen it in town?
I got the last 4 pack in the cooler at the Woodman's in Janesville Saturday night. From what I've seen in another thread, they only got 2 cases and it was gone on Sunday. I am on the hunt for another couple if I can find them. Very tasty.
Got mine at Steve's on University, still there as of this Wednesday
Had Illumination tonight. Very tasty.
