If so I wonder what they have in their fridge/cellars
Richard Christy from the Stern show but probably not the caliber of celebrity you are referring to.
What do you mean? I don't know if there is a higher caliber.
Wil Wheaton. Duh.
Peter King, sportswriter for Sports Illustrated, always has a Beernerdness section in his weekly Monday Morning Quarterback column. To quote Mr. King in this week's article: "Beernerdness: Happiness is having six Flower Power IPAs in the refrigerator for use sometime in the next week or so."
Well it was all over the board last week that Niel Patrick Harris had HT at the emmys
I'm into craft beer and I'm a celebrity.
Sam Calagione and Jim Koch like craft beer.
I'm a legend in my own living room.
Seriously, I'm sure there are plenty of celebs that are craft beer fans. Whether or not any are on this or other forums is possible, if not probable, but I'm sure they aren't going to come out and say who they are.
Keep also in mind that there are celeb-influenced colab beers, like the one the keyboard player from String Cheese Incident (I think... one of the prog / jam bands, anyways) did a couple years ago.
I know in another forum I'm a member of, a guitar-based one, we have Elliot Easton from The Cars, and Joe Bonnamassa both posting fairly frequently, we all know who they are, but at least in public, there isn't any fandom squee-ing... can't say about private messages, of course.
Don't know much about this beer or if it will be considered Craft, but Adrian Grenier (Vince from Entourage) is involved in something. Looks like they maybe just promoting the can more then the beer though:
There was two cases of heady at the Emmys and supposedly Noel Patrick Harris was quickly addicted.
What about that Dan Aykroyd photo with the 3L Double Bastard?
Draft Magazine was putting celebrities on the cover each month for a while, though not all of them had great taste in beer.
Aisha Tyler has mentioned homebrewing. Likes Hoppy stuff. Like triple hopped Miller lite.
it is like knowing your favorite beer, I do not care.
I somehow missed that discussion completely. Thats awesome...
Please don't anyone post that pic of Charlize Theron carrying the Dogfish Head box...I have used Corona boxes to carry stuff and I don't drink Corona.
In certain circles, like Stern fans and metal fans, he is pretty substantial. =)
Ryan Stiles (Drew Carey Show, Whose line Is It Anyway) lives around here when he's not working. See him in the grocery store, generally has a craft sixer or two in his cart. Real nice guy as well.
This, plus her role on Archer, makes me want her badly.
Charlize Theron likes Dogfish Head 60 Min
Darren Rovell, an ESPN sports-business analyst, tweets about craft beers a decent amount. Says Cigar City is his favorite brewery quite a bit.
I know Bonny Prince Billy likes good beer, as he partook in Zwanze Day festivities in Louisville.
Don't remember any details except there was Heady backstage recently at some award show. Shows how much I pay attention to that crap that all I remember is Heady lol.
Meet the internet. I remember seeing something on this board about Metallica liking a certain craft beer, can't remember which one; but this could also be that 80's era Metallica loved anything that could impair them.
ETA: darn, Hdredfern beat me to it!
He was also in a Dogfish Head video, playing an interviewer to Sam Calagione's robot character. Yes, it was kind of goofy and amusing, but went on a bit too long. He seems like a cool guy.
Ha oops! Sorry!
Think I saw John Clayton (ESPN) at the Seattle Taproom (at the airport) last weekend drinkin' something good. I guess I should've asked him what he was drinkin'.
Saw a picture of Will Ferrell at Deschutes Brewery (see their fb page for pic from August 29th). Also, isn't Kathy Ireland a homebrewer?
Zack Morris loves Founders.. seriously..
Well to make up for that Charlize pic, Here's Dan Akroid with Schlafly:
And Kat Dennings with a Stone Arrogant Bastard:
That is weird, there are no sports in Seattle. He references himself sitting down to enjoy beer while he watches football all the time on his blogs, and if you follow him on twitter sometimes he posts pictures with stuff. I have seen a picture with him and some chump that went to that school that my 'Horns beat in the National Championship game enjoying a Enjoy By
The old guy wierds me out now a days with his giberish that he speaks on now, but I could watch Kat drink beer all day. They both have great taste though.
I'm not suggesting anything. But maybe Dan should have uh cleaned his face before hanging out in the blacklight....
I think some of our founding fathers were into beer! And not that BMC crap either! I guess if you consider Obama a celebrity then that counts too.
Aziz Ansari drinking a Narragansett. That count? Also heard Jason Segel is into beer as well.
that whole party scene in This Is The End, Seth Rogan and everyone are drinking Stone IPA and PA
Joel McHale seems to be. He has a travel show alongside Brew Dogs and ordered many different beers.
I saw Aziz at Brewery Vivant while he was here filming 30 Seconds or Less. He was probably at the brewery at The B.O.B. when he did the free shows, too.
