    A few thoughts:

    1) Too bad they had to make the price such a prominent part of the article.
    2) I wonder how much the bottles of 020202 will be. I think it's interesting that the article says they will have sets containing the beers going back to 020202 but the pictures in the slideshow only show back to 030303.
    3) I wonder what beer in his personal collection is worth as much as $500

I hope this article does whatever he hoped it would for the store, it's a gem in the Dayton area.

Worth of course being what a willing buyer will give a willing seller. Nice that he decided to do the lottery to reduce the insanity (apparently legal reasons as well). Personally, I'm sticking with St. B. Apt 12 for a fraction of the price.

Edit - "Each six pack of the ale produced by monks at its 1,838-year-old Belgian brewery will cost you $85."

What do you suppose Westy from 1,838 years ago would sell for? Maybe that's what Mike has that's worth $500!

I've had this beer once, and I wouldn't even put it in my top 20 beers. Just don't have a fondness for the trappist ales.
