I have had the opposite results, the longer I wait (i.e. 2-4 weeks) the better the beer. They tend to be a bit green.

I think Neutrino was a mistake, but my Double Orange is tasting great right now with very little if any sediment. I have opened Trillium, Tree House, & Monkish beers in the last week and opened up to compare. There is definitely sediment at the bottom of the can, which is something we should expect in these beers. I'm not saying Neutrino level, I am saying compared to Double Orange they are acceptable levels IMO.

I also know they are getting a brite tank soon if not already so we should even see brighter beer soon.

Lastly, if you have an issue with the cans, go to the guys and have a conversation next time you are there. I know I have and they have responded well to my feedback. I also think though that everyone is blowing all of this sediment thing out of control. I was there last week or two weeks ago and Andrew was pouring out four cans someone brought in. There was realistically .5 ozs of sediment not 4 oz that people have been posting. I have to have a 4oz and I bought 12 cans.

One last thing. There beer still rocks and will only get better as they dial in their new system.

    P.S. I am also a fanboy.

Really? My Johann cans have consistently tasted very different after 2 weeks.

I more or less agree on the Neutrino. I still have a decent amount of cans and they've gotten better and better. Aslin's awesome and I don't have to venture out to Richmond or into New England for it so I'm definitely thankful.

I have found that Johann beers and any fruited beer that any brewery does tastes better if you roll the cans prior to drinking. Fruit can separate to the bottom. Grimm actually has you roll all of their cans prior to drinking.

Did anyone get a growler of Master of Oranges yesterday? Mine was similar to Neutrino. It tasted so green and looked nothing like the pictures people were posting on Untapped who were drinking it out of cans. Was really bummed as I was really looking forward to this beer.

I got two 32oz growlers and thought it was green. Nose was great, but needed to sit a few more days.

What do you recommend if I've already taken about a glass out of a 64 oz growler. Let it sit and drink it Sunday? I can't imagine it will still be good come next week.

Did you try anything else from yesterday? Judging by untappd reviews, sounds like MoO and Stellar are both off. Was planning on a couple growlers but I'm thinking no at this point. And those shirts....wow

That's unfortunate. Here's hoping that Triple Crossing collab is dope.

I also got a 32 of Stellar, but haven't opened it. May leave it shut until next weekend. I also got a 32 of the Berliner Weiss, which I am sure is fine.

I finished mine just noticed it was green. Opened my Stellar now and thought it was fine. I looked at Untappd and there were only a few off reviews, but prob due to greeness.

Aslin is certainly polarizing. Many hit and miss reviews. Master of Orange getting a lot of bad feedback from growlers. It's the first time in a long time I can actually go to a release but I'm heavily doubting whether or not I should. Hard to fork over that much for a can that is hardly drinkable. It'll be a game time decision I guess.

IMO Aslin produces some amazing beers. I've had two bad beers, Neutrino and now MoO. Both because they were rushed beers. No reason to can Neutrino before it was ready and MoO shouldn't be in growlers until it's right. Probably just another week in the tanks and it goes to a home run beer. No reason to ruin your great reputation just to rush a beer out of a tank.

Here's hoping the beer is fresher than your choice of slang.
