Hey every one thanks for your patience  and all the personal encouragement and messages and questions you have sent about our Assassin. Well........... you should know that Mike has pulled the trigger on bottling it this week and we will plan on releasing it this Saturday, 4/13/13 at noon at our original brewery, 310 College Dr, Decorah IA. Barrel aged longer than last year, the refined smoothness and tantalizing viscosity will coat you into sweet savoring notes of caramelized malts and of the barrel and it's best offerings. We will also have 12 oz bottles (limit 2) of Mornin' Delight with only 300 being produced this go round. Both are released to be consumed fresh, not aged!

This is about as official as it gets folks! Come and get it!

Cheers...we appreciate your business and feedback!

    Clark

I'm planning to make a stop in next Sunday enroute to points further south for work. Any special request from the Twin Cities?

I'd offer some beer bribes just for you to hold me a pair of Mornin' Delight for a day. With only 300 bottles i wouldn't be surprised in the least if you are sold out of those on Saturday.

Sounds great.......we will be open at noon! We will have Zeelander and Alternate Galaxy on tap. We usually do not get both of those at the same time! Also.....small batch SR-71 bb imperial stout. Travel safe, stay long.

    Cheers!

Ser Clark, will any amount of this beer make it to stores? Unfortunately I work on Saturday, so this would appear to be my only hope of obtaining a bottle! Cheers

  26. BottleCaps80

Yeah, price is really steep! I guess it can be justified by being limited to a few hundred bottles though.

Probably not much.....quite a few folks coming down I can hook you up with someone and you can deal for mule if you want.....thanks! We should have some left Sunday and we are open. Hope we can make more and more in years to follow to insure we can get it in the market for all of you that bust your buns and can not make it down.

I'm afraid to find out after $10 for Mornin Delight. I'd like to find out what the price is for Assassin as I would rather not make a 4 hour round trip only to find out its a $20 bottle once I get to the front door.

Wow, this is why you all at TG are my favorite. If anyone local to Madison or the Twin Cities can help me out to make this happen, please send Clark and me a message!

EDIT: And unfortunately... I work Sunday too

I think it was $18-$20 last year

  36. TgBC

    Assassin is $20 for a 22oz bomber.

Assassin spent the last 16+ months in barrels ranging from Old Fitzgerald to 12 and 20 year Elijah Craig barrels. The angels took more than their fair share, but I think you'll like what they left.

Kentucky Brunch is on hold for the moment. We're waiting on the government right now before it goes any further.

We will be bottling IPA's very soon and they'll be bombers to start out. We do want to start offering things in six-packs, but bombers make things a lot easier as we become more and more familiar with our bottle filler. Also, we're working extremely hard to be able to afford a laser dater for our bottles. Freshness is everything to us, please trust that we'll get bottled on dates as soon as we can!

Care to elaborate? Seems a 12% stout could relax in the bottle for a year or two with no ill effects. I mean, I trust you because it's your beer, just curious.
