Are their any decent bottle shops in or near Aurora at all? I moved here from Texas and was staying in Highlands Ranch and Fort Collins part time and had great success there, but I am permanently in Aurora and am lucky to find something simple like Odell so far, much less some Jolly Pumpkin or Firestone.

Anything at all decent around here?

Chambers Wine and Liquor (at Iliff & Chambers, only about a mile from Dry Dock) is an excellent store, although it isn't huge like the megastores down south. They get in pretty much all of the major releases, even the unusual ones. You'll find what you're looking for there.
If you're further south, Cornerstar is right on the edge of where Aurora hits the DTC in the same complex as Dad & Dudes. They're a much bigger store. Chambers is denser and tends to have better bombers, but Cornerstar might have a few items Chambers lacks.

Libations at Arapahoe and Parker is a great bottle shop, across the street from Cornerstar and a better selection IMO. Lukas is the best in the general area, at Yosemite and County Line Rd, not aurora but as long as u don't mind a little further drive, you'll be rewarded. Parker Payless is wonderful as well and not quite the haul.

Yeah Lukas is awesome, but I am probably 20 miles from there now, I was looking for something closer. Chambers wine and liquor sounds like a good idea, if Domingo is right. I will check it out soon, I work out at that 24 hr fitness at Alameda and Chambers, so I will go a few blocks south and check it out! Thanks guys, I will use Libations as a fallback...I'm kinda in the boonies at 470 and 6th (Cross Creek), so I know nothing will be around the corner, but hell it takes 15 mins to get anywhere around here so I will give these two a shot!

If you show up at Libations with Bronco gear this weekend you get 10% off non-sale items. The highlights for Aurora have already been mentioned though unless there's some small shop that I've not run across yet.

Not sure how far away Joy wine and spirits is from 470 but its on 6th and that's a good option too.

Come check out Alameda Liquor Mart. My name is Mike and I'm the beer buyer here. We tend to be a hidden gem for most beer geeks. Come in anytime and ask for me!

That's over by Alameda East Animal Hospital. I had no idea. I'll have to drop in one of these days.

Are you in the military? If so the liquor store inside Buckley AFB has really stepped it up recently. At Smoky Hill and E470 you'll find Greatvines and a little further south is Boozers; both might suit you. I second the "hidden gems" at Alameda, their selection is very good.
