Set up a trade with MacDomer for some Zombie Dust and Kabert and was hopeful that we could expand the trade, so I asked if he could score some BCBS. I knew it was a long shot and he explained that he looked up and down the Chicago area and called into 2 spots for it. I was OK with not being able to set up a trade for some. I know how difficult of a beer it is to find. So, we stick with our original agreement. My box comes in and there is my 6er of Zombie Dust, my Kabert, a Blackout stout as an extra (nice!).. and then I come to the last bottles. As I rip into that packet I say to myself .. "No F'ng way!". A shiny new bottle of BCBS peeks out from the bubble wrap. I am elated! I get to the last bottle and it's ANOTHER BCBS. Unreal. I see a note taped to the packaging saying that he was only able to score one 4 pack and he hopes I enjoy. To give someone 1/2 of your score of a difficult beer to land, regardless if production has been increased, is way beyond generous. MacDomer , Thank you! Threads like this make me feel guilty for not giving shout outs every time I was super excited about a box I received from a generous trader. IE: BdubleEdubleRUN for sending me his only bottle of BA speedway and following up with random stuff that isnt necessary but is always appreciated 2x different traders for sending me alpine great as extras sendsilk for sending me some of my most prized berliner ticks and being one of the most genuine people ive had the pleasure of meeting that guy in belgium who sent me framboos and the armand/tommy blend just cuz he was able to buy more than he thought he could at the sour and bitter fest jconrick for being the only person i know within 3 hours of upright who will hook me up with upright bottles when there is a bottle release with a count less than 200 total bottles and not ask for part of my genitalia in return claaark13 for knowing how much it means to people when they are a fan of a certain brewery and hooking them up when you have something they really want Tundish for not even asking if I want a berliner weisse that I never had and just sending it to me cuz he knows I want it
