Either of you guys try this? Was curious as to how it is. I remember when they put into barrels thinking it had potential but I've become a bit gun shy from some their non stout / behemoth BA beers.

BA Tiger Jelly. Are we taking bets on how awful this is?

No, my comment was geared toward my general dislike for Belgian strong ales. It might be delicious!

low(er) price + higher bottle limits gives me the impression that they're REALLY stoked with how great this one ended up tasting... dare I say the next Bully Guppy? Could we be SO lucky?

    :astonished:

OR, it could be that is tastes just fine and they had quite a few barrels of it so its less .rar = lower price.

Impossible to tell... ahh the joy....

Someone go try it real quick and let us all know...

30 chardonnay barrels, supposedly. So, 1500 gallons or so. That's a lot of bombers.

Preferably before 5pm, so we all know if it's worth it to make the trip south

Hmm think this will sell fast, like before DLD?

I wouldn't doubt they have been reserving some of each release to sell at DLD. Pure speculation though....

heh.. sounds like it'll either be delicious or awful, no middle ground. I'll let someone else try it first.

Is this supposed to be soured or is it just clean with wine/tannins?

Tons of likes to the first guy who lets us know if this is drinkable or not.

On the plus side, they seemed to like Port Barrel Dark Lord.

From page one of this thread - lowest price for BA FFF prior to this release - Bully Guppy, $20.

I think we all can read between the lines on this one. They aren't very happy with it either.

Then have some pride and dump it down the fucking drain.

Allow me to elaborate - ICYMI - Bully Guppy was an undrinkable acetone/nail-polish-remover mess. Why ANY brewery would think its OK to charge their customers for such an utterly worthless product is beyond me... stuff tasted like poison.
