Yo What brew would you use to celebrate your last hurra. I'm not getting married until the end of June, but my party is this weekend. I wanna know what you'd drink!

A St. Bernardus Methuselah Abt 12. You will have plenty of time to drink smaller format beers during marriage

I threw a bachelor party for my buddy last May. We literally spent 10 hours at his favorite bar. I knew going in it was going to be a long haul and that such a day would lend itself to drinking a lot of low abv brew. Unfortunately this bar usually has BMC for low abv stuff. Much to my surprise, they had two cases of Stone Levitation in the cooler when we showed up at 4:00 PM. I drank that stuff all day and night (with the exception of the occassional Wild Turkey shot).

I highly recomend Stone Levitation. Tasty, all kinds of drinkable and you can have several without getting totally faced.

For mine we went to a brew fest....I had tons of different beers and then after a pubcrawl. It was great had the opportunity to try like 50 different beers and felt fine the next day

I don't remember my bachelor party. I know I woke up and saw holes in walls, was told cops came and I chased a man down a street. Great time it was.

If it is your bachelor party drink what you want.

I planned out my brother-in-laws bachelor party. We had a lot of easy drinking craft beer for casual drinking throughout the day. We had some Bells, Short's, Dark Horse, and Arcadia 6 packs (IPAs, wheat, stouts, pale ales). I also grabbed a mini-keg of Two Hearted, that was fun. We had some nice bottles (JP La Roja and Brooklyn Local 2, along with some wine) with a steak dinner we made at the house we rented. For the "game" beers I had a lot of these:

They both went over well and are cheaper than BMCs regular line up.

This was a great bachelor party,i wish I had one like this. It was fun renting a house for 2 nights, renting a room at a local bar, and hanging out a lot, the best part is that my brother-in-laws friends are great group of guys, they made the event an amazing time... plus the damage charges were fairly low, only $100

For my brothers we didn't pick any specific beer, but instead spent a day barhopping and brewery touring around Burlington. Of course, the campfire the night before would not have been complete if we didn't have this: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/21092/64297

How awful is Big Flats. I meant to try it when I first heard about it but never got around to it

I would start with a Stone Double Bastard to get me loose and then go with a easy drinking pale or ipa.

As long as you keep it ice cold it doesn't taste any better or worse than your typical adjunct. Drinking it around a campfire with a bunch of guys was just fine that night.

Mine was in Vegas as a 22 year old kid who didnt know dick about beer. Oh if I could take the money I wasted on gambling/strippers and go back and trade or at least have found BA. Woulda been such a better time.

    Cheers!

This is exactly what I was going to recommend! This is one of my favorite "session" beers. So much flavor and you're not wrecked after three of them, I love me some levitation.

Whatever you choose, you gotta drink it from this.
And drink it with the toe pointing up...just to get the laughs going.
