Bad Trader Alert----"Jackskeleton"

That's pretty shitty, I'd like to hear his side or atleast see if he'll make good on his end but i guess the ipa's wont be super "fresh" anymore anyways. Hopefully he sees this. Fjl77 is a good trader and doesn't deserve to be done like this.

 

Looks like he hasn't been too active on the new forum, hope he comes through.

There's a note on his profile from another member about a month ago saying:

"is are trade still alive?"

I'll assume that's "Is our trade still alive?" So perhaps Jack S. is struggling to get boxes out on time with more than one trader.

i can get you pliny at some point. you might as well forget about the expos until next release at those are past prime as this point. nelson requires a drive to the brewery which i cannot pull at the moment and the 5th anniversary has beer geeks on it like locusts so the odds of me grabbing you a few bottles of that are very, very low. send me your contact information and i'll get a pliny and some other hoppy beers heading your way in a few weeks. cheers.

If you take it down, he'll just screw someone else over until they post another bad trader thread... It's uncanny how these threads have a way of getting traders to complete their end of a deal.

 

It sucks that you're still waiting on your end, but I did want to throw out there that I traded with him in early February (a similar trade...2x Expo Hoppiness, 2x Nelson, and 1x Pure Hoppiness for some Sexy Chocolate and other NC/GA beers), and I had no problems. He shipped to me quickly, provided tracking numbers, etc. Obviously the circumstances of every trade are different, but I did want to throw it out there that he doesn't screw everybody over...mine went totally smooth. Maybe there were some legit extenuating circumstances or whatever (though communicating them is important).

 

I agree with this, there is no reason to take this thread down even if he ultimately sends you the beer.

 

Ain't nothing like trading beer to make life get in people's way.

Ain't nothing like public humiliation to make people want to do what their lax moral codes don't inspire.

Almost traded with this jackskeleton a while back, seemed rather flighty and ill-focused. I ended up glad we hadn't made a deal.

Yeah, who knows...he said that he was getting a ton of Alpine bottles, so it sounds like he was setting up a few similar trades at once.
