Bad Trader: Amarangakis (RESOLVED)

@eisebeer Although I can sympathize with you getting screwed over. Sometimes the approach people take in calling someone out, whether right or wrong, often leads to peeps not trading with them (OP) either. The old adage "you get more bees with honey" approach definitely works or rather the *James Dean* level headed, cool, and calm approach. I'm not saying you shouldn't be upset or for that matter...pissed off. But showing emotion over the internent without being able to visually see their *facial expressions* or hear their *tone of voice* can sometimes have the wrong effect when telling a story or "your side". Everybody handles things differently, I get it...to each their own. Also, a more *detailed* description of the events (dates, messages, etc) would also help your cause. I agree that just because it wasn't official through a trade request, doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to *warn* the community of a BA on this site not fulfilling their end. Kudos for doing that!!

I also find it disturbing that @Amarangakis hasn't chimed in after being tagged multiple times. This isn't like you are in front of millions of people giving a speech. Type something on a keyboard while watching "Judge Judy", but silence on this matter will surely lead to a black hole.

 

I feel like most of these threads involve someone who hasn't been around in a while... @Amarangakis you've been actively trading/posting and know this thread is here. Make it right dude

Definitely two sides to every story, but he has 6 open trades right now and 1 pending. That's a lot of unfinished activity that needs to be addressed. I sure hope he responds so that no one else gets screwed out of beer.

 

Since there are so many open trades and a pending trade with Amara- Is there any way to send this post to those people so they can at least request he sends first or something? It might be too late for some, but its worth a shot.

Being late way 100% my fault. All I asked OP was to please be patient but it escalated immediately. I would never steal from anyone, all I asked him was to stop being a pest.

 

I think a lot of this could have been avoided if you had come on and said everything before. Changing to private didn't help your case either. All that matters here it the OP gets his beer and he is happy, you will have to build up your reputation over time again.

I don't think you have much of a leg to stand on to be scolding anyone here, man. Maybe he was "bugging" you more than you felt was reasonable, but if you had lived up to your end of the deal in the first place, there wouldn't have been an issue.

"Rules" should not be iron-clad absolutes. These two traders met on BA, used the system the first time, & then one trader sought to abuse the OPs trust by going around the system.

The OP made a mistake by not using the system, but I, & many others, appreciate him warning the community about a trader not coming through on his obligations. Taking it down would only serve to remove a tool for those who will think about trading with @Amarangakis in the future.
