Good stuff. I'm in California. Cans have been a favorite go to for me!
Best is the sculpin, but all the brews are good.

    Prost!

Is there a formula for converting Julian date codes to Gregorian dates, or do I need to download another app on my phone?

Seems like it's YY-XXX, where XXX is the number day of the year. So 13001 would be Jan 1, 2013 (the first day of the year). 13365 would be Dec 31, 2013.

I got that part, but I was thinking it'd be nice to have a formula or something where I can put a Julian date in and come out with a Gregorian date.

I guess since beer expiration isn't a concrete date, approximations work well enough by counting backwards in 30s to mark off months. All such as: "Okay, the date is 13237. Count 365, 335, 305, 275, 245. 5 months before December 31. So, mid-August 2013."

A quick google search will bring up PDF charts that make it easy to convert from one to the other.
