Just hit Austin...should be popping up around town and the state. Please post if you have credible info...

Sunrise Minimart posted that they have it. As of 30 minutes they only had half a case left. 1 bottle limit

Most other places should have this Tuesday if they don't today.

I think it's priced in the $15 area from what I've read.

Picked up the last one 30 mins. ago at SLW&S. I hope this was worth the horrible drive south at rush hour.

You couldn't give me $$$ to drive in that awful traffic. Shit, that's half the reason I've worked overnights the last 5 years. This is also why I live in SOUTH Austin. ;)

I could be wrong, but I believe they just have the regular Bigfoot on tap right now. Going off a post I saw on Facebook, haven't been by in a couple days.

Come on people, you northies have Sunrise, Hyde Park, CM and all these Specs, there's absolutely no reason to sit in traffic to rob South Austin's share. Leave some for us, you don't see us fighting traffic to come north because we got it cool down here.

I like being central so I can rob the north and the south

I am curious about kegs though...would be nice if The Draught House or The Flying Saucer tapped a keg of this. Draught House will be tapping a keg of BA Old Raspy at some point so not out of the question for them to acquire a BA Bigfoot keg. *fingers crossed*....

A half barrel of BA Raspy costs a cool thousand, apparently.

I hope to score a bottle of this stuff. If anyone has any info, feel free to BM me. Bigfoot is one of my favorite beers period. BA Bigfoot just sounds off the charts.

I think they only do BA in 1/6bbls for about $400; that said, if they do fill 1/2bbls, I would believe your price quote based on that.

Also, BA Rasputin is one of the most overpriced beers out there - it takes a rare breed of beer to make Black Tuesday look cheap.

There's a thread somewhere in the Southwest section where a bar actually posted the 1/2 bbl $1000 factoid. Arizona, however.

Yeah, it's definitely overpriced but it's so damn good with a year on it. And it's C&C for taking to a dinner or event. I like it when I can take beer to places only wine can usually go. :)

Sigh at all you people that moved to my city and now say things like Hype Park or CM on Lamar being north. Even Sunrise is only kind of north.

Anything north of the river is north to me. Moving to South Austin changes your perspective. We were priced out of central and even East Austin now that it's become hipster-haven. When I lived there it was the Bario.

For this being 'your city' you don't seem very knowledgeable of it's commonly used terms.

north of the river and south of the river

I don't care if you carpetbaggers use the wrong terms. Just looking at a map will show you that Austin is not cut in two by the river.

I live in the Anderson Mill area. Sunrise, CM Lamar, Hyde Park, etc, are not north by any stretch of the imagination.

Lies. I am friends with a SN sales rep here in Houston and BA Bigfoot is not quite a nationwide release since some states are not getting any. Its based off of sales and TX got more than most states but it still is not a lot and no places in Houston are getting more than 1 case.

Bet Midtown Specs gets more than a case. Also bet no other Specs sees any.

I really really want to try this, but I fear I won't get one.

    Any word on Houston yet?

That combo strikes fear in my heart a Total BEK collaboration. You can be certain that whatever info you obtain, it's entirely accurate ;)

If this is based on SNPA sales, I'm guessing you'll see this in HEB. I know for a fact that my local HEB sells a SHITTON of SN.
