I'm just going to trade for this beer and not bother with the chase. Preference for cases in FW went to bars and there is literally no way I'm going to pay $30+ for this.

$29.99 is NUTS. I paid $19.99 and from what I understand, that was marked up from the MSRP.

Could be... or maybe just a Matt and Justin tasting. I'm getting trashed somewhere March 9th, my birthday... make yourself available. Probably going to end up at Craft & Growler for a very small 1 bottle a person tasting.

The first rule of places that ship to TX is: you don't discuss it in a public forum. Never know who could be watching and one call to that company and they would stop shipping to TX. Not a website I use or anything.

Sorry for trying to help fellow BAs get a beer they might have missed. I thought this was beer "advocate", my mistake.

  27. DanzBorin

You should offer to send the name of the site by private message. When you discuss publicly, sites magically stop shipping.

I'd suggest you both delete the website name then.

*EDIT* Looks like I was a bit late to the party. We probably should ask for a sticky to be made about this so this doesn't happen again. I know some of us old farts remember the good old days when we could order beer from most sites, but like some folks said, once names started being posted, these sites stopped shipping to TX. Best to keep it hush hush and pass names around through word of mouth or BM.

Sorry to anyone I offended.. honestly didn't consider this as hush hush, since that website clearly list us a shipping location. Cheers to all

LOL wow, you won't be helping 1 damn person if they stop shipping. Really by posting that you are possibly shutting down a source and that is worse than not posting it.

I don't think offense was taken to your recommendation. And much like you others want to be advocates and one of those things is to treat places that ship with a Fight Club mentality. We do not talk about it openly because the powers that be have both the time ad resources to shut it down.

You didn't do any harm. I'd just edit the post and remove the name of the site. Some of us use them regularly and don't want to risk TABC finding out :)

Definitely good information to send out via PM for those that are interested.

Just wanted to see what the shipping was, looks like $31 + 10 "Handling Fee", so $40 on top of any order for up to 6 bottles...

    No thanks.

Strange this beer was so hard to track down. Got 1 to pop and 1 to store.
