    New thread.

Anyone still looking for Backwoods Bastard, Ledgers has 4-packs for $14.99.

Also, has anyone seen the new Tusk & Grain bottles as well as BA Ten Fidy?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this, but seems like as good a place as any. Does anyone have info or prior experience with the barrel-aged beer festival that is happening at The Bistro in Hayward tomorrow? I know their IPA festival around Beer Week is great, but don't have much knowledge about this one. Unfortunately, it does not look like they publish a list of beers / breweries ahead of time. If anyone could offer an idea of what to expect, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

    Also @grilledsquid

I think you posted in the October thread that you were looking for The Butcher. I stopped by City Beer earlier this week and they had bottles in the cooler. It sounded like they had a few more in the back, so it's possible they may still have this - worth checking with them if you are interested.

It's a pretty nice fest. I usually volunteer at all the Bistro's events, but I'm not sure of the exact price to get in. I want to say for this one, it could be around $40-$50 with 10 tasting tickets and the opportunity to buy more. I could be wrong though. Haha. The Bistro will usually release a list of breweries closer to the event, but rarely what beers they will have. It's a good mixture of sours, stouts, and other styles in various barrels.

Crafty Fox in SF is killing it again. Expensive, but nice to be able to drink so many great beers at one spot.

I'm a bit irritated that the beer guy at Ledger's doesn't seem to think BA Ten Fidy is worth getting because he doesn't think it will sell due to the can format. He seems to take a nonchalant attitude towards that kind of stuff, yet he's willing to stock rows of Libertine wilds that no one wants to buy.

Yep, I was down in Oakland for the JRAD show yesterday and stopped by Beercraft on the way back up and they said it sold out yesterday morning and that they're not getting anymore. They did have it on tap though and also got bottles of Collage 2. There's still a few of those left so get some while you can.

City Beer Store has a Boneyard keg, are they distributing down here now? Trying to decide between Liquid Gold with Orchard St. or Crafty Fox with Galaxy Juice.

Boneyard shows up every once in a while at CBS, Toronado will have some notorious on randomly and some other Boneyard beer.

Hahah, just saw Galaxy Juice at Crafty Fox also, might head there for that, and some alvarado after work

Toronado has Maine Beer Co. Peeper, $7 for 16 oz. Not bad. One could do one hell of a bar crawl today.

Ales Unlimited was nice enough to go to Rare Barrel and bring back bottles of Forces Unseen. Picked up one of those and two bottled of Desay Deux from deGarde.

You know you're in trouble when you spend $50 at the first of five bottle spots you're hitting for the day.

If anyone is interested : Trader Joe's just got another batch of their exclusive Modern Times beer - accumulated knowledge. The closest we're going to get to a mass produced, shelf stable NE style hazy, juicy ipa. It's fantastic!

Found mine at the Lakeshore Oakland store. $6.99 a bomber I believe.
