BCBS 2012 - Michigan Release/Sightings

Don't count on it. Allocations go to who sells the most GI, nothing to do other AB brands.

 

haha so they just told me there sales rep walked in and said they will be getting it toward the end of november, didn't say how much though, so we shall see what happens.

 

got a bottle of 2012 from a trading buddy in chicago today. also i bet 2-1 odds that the clubhouse gets the bulk of the oakland county allotment

 

Jim called Fabiano for me today and they said that they're getting 30 cases of BCBS in as soon as next week. Not sure which accounts are getting what, but that's much better than the 4 they got last year.

 

Please inform me. What is the clubhouse?

I am hoping it doesnt hit til at least next week since i am heading to austin. I'm sitting in the goose island bar at ohare and you should have seen the look on the bartender's face when i asked (jokingly) if they had bourbon county.

 

Clubhouse is a beer bar in Rochester hills they got all of the king Henry for michigan

 

CHBFD is a beer bar and not a store? Oh well. Drinking at their place is as good as mine.

 

Maybe all of the King Henry for that side of the state, but definitely not all of the King Henry for Michigan.

 

I am thinking (not based on anything) that we'll see some but not alot in SE michigan. If we get the shaft again, then screw the Goose.

Yeah, then they charge up the ass for it. I hope they do better than they did for KBS.

I just assume that at some point, maybe not for another year but eventually, GI will be making lots of this and it'll be (relatively easy) to get. Until then, I'm not chasing trucks and I'm not getting gouged.

Fellas....try not to be so negetive about whether you will get any BCBS or not. It doesn't take much to score this beer....and when you hear numbers like 5-10 times more then last year...you should be a bit positive. Plus...if I remember correctly...last year Chicago got their allocation a good month before us....even though GI stated it would be the same week.

 

Says the guy on the west side of the state.... Considering I was only able to score 3 bottles of Peaches and Creme through my usual ways, I don't even know if this one is worth trying for in Metro Detroit.

 

Saw the GI distributer rep in a store today, he said maybe next week but didn't seem real confident.

 

Exactly, the westside of the state doesn't understand how little we get on the eastside and how fast it goes. I think last year I was only able to get a bottle, had to trade to get more. I hear '12 is drinking really nice. I'm not looking to hoard, just want a four pack.

 

I agree. If i could even score 2 bottles that would be outstanding. I paid $11.99 for A bottle last year.
