BCBVS vs. BCBS '11

    This is more to settle a bet between a friend and me but could turn into an ISO:FT post from me in the near future.

    Just wondering what a fair value is for these 2.
    Namely, people with a bottle of BCBVS what's the minimum amount of BCBS '11 you'd accept for your Vanilla? And people with multiple BCBS '11, how many would you give up for a Vanilla?

    Just curiosity at this point,

    It depends entirely on whether I traded to get the BCBS'11 that I'd be trading to get the BCBVS. They are both, after all, shelf beers. If I got the BCBS from the store, I'd give up 6 of them while I grinding my teeth. Otherwise, I'd probably just keep my BCBS to myself.

    A 4-pack of BCBS'11 should land a Vanilla without any trouble.

    Would I personally do it? No, because I don't "get" the hype surrounding Vanilla. I'd rather have 2 BCBS'11 than 1 bottle of Vanilla.

    I'd keep all my 2011 BCBS. And I still want someone to tell me how much vanilla extract to add to one bottle to make some faux-BCBVS.

    Like one drop. I just added half a teaspoon to 2.5 gallons of homebrew and it took over my oak aged bourbon oatmeal stout.

    AWESOME. The new "real life" ISO. I totally dig this. Have been missing reasonable ISO's for SOOOO long (just like YOU *points at YOU)!

    Thank God for trading partners...

    (Wish I had more than one bottle of '11. Love me some Vanilla.)

    Haha i did like your answer! I agree a BCBVS would go straight up for a 4 pack but I'm hoping to get 6 so I added the + at the end :wink:

    I hate unreasonable ISOs as much as anyone, that was the reason for me coming to the General/Help section to get an idea of what I should expect rather than being the guy that goes FT BCBVS ISO 3 4packs of BCBS'11!! I KNOW WHAT MY WALES ARE WORTH DONT TELL ME IM WRONG!!

    Stop trading for BCBS, just get a bottle of RARE and pour 1 teaspoon into a glass of water = BCBS

    If I had a rare I would. As it stands I only have a vanilla and want regular BCBS. I'll post this in the regular ISO:FT in a week or two and hopefully someone will hit me up
