Beatification Batch 6 Release

It's exciting but I'm thinking this is gonna be a 2014 release

 

Yeah, even if this is only in barrel 6 months, it will need time to be blended and bottled. Early 2014, I'd say.

 

We should see more Beat this year. There is a post on their FB page from February 2012 that mentions they had recently done a batch of Sonambic and that it would need a year to age.

 

The video was really exciting...love to see yeast burps on video.

 

That FB post should have basically no bearing on when you think the next batch of Beat comes out. That's probably destined for B7 or maybe even B8.

 

I emailed then last year asking if there would be a 2013 release. The answer was "yes, but no set time frame"

 

Last year's release was the best beer event I've been to, I'll be there at 8am again whenever this drops.

 

We had a good time man.

Nothin owed here. We will plan meetup at the next release though. I am amost never in SJ.

 

On the last Bottom of the Bottom podcast, Greg mentioned that RR will be pouring Beatification at the Farm to Fermentation Festival (Ales for Autism event) on Sun, Aug 18 at Finley Center in Santa Rosa. Maybe we'll see the release soon at the pub?

No new info AFAIK. The coolship room is empty save for 10 barrels filled 6/15/13, but, again, who knows if that means the next batch is imminent or if they just moved the older ones for shits and giggles? It'll be ready when it's ready, and trust me, when they announce it you'll know. BA Mexican Cake has nothing on Beatification for BA shitstorms. I think B5 was worse than the annual DLD forum takeover.

 

I hear rumors that they will be pouring Beatification at a local fair/festival in August. Source is a good one, but it isn't guaranteed. Also could mean they are pouring an older batch. Who knows.
