Beer and Cheese

    I am enjoying some pepper jack and Hopslam. Sweet, spicy and bitter! What beer and cheese pairings do you like?

    I don't wander outside of cheddar too much. Love me some 5 or 7 year old cheddar and ipa's!

    smoked gouda and a dope ass browna le work wonders. also, soy-saucey stouts and blue cheese is a hilarious combo, you'd never think.

    High Life and some Kraft cheddar. a few saltines and a drop or two of Tabasco. Drink, munch and repeat.

    beer cheese soup :p
    so wrong, yet so right....... and you can't deny it's the perfect beer cheese pairing!

    and an old school swiss/gruyere fondue w/ a baguette and a val dieu tripl
    or some manchego, membrillo, and a very non-spanish lachschinken (german cured/smoked pork loin) w/ a dirty bastard.

    I don't really have any specific pairings, but beer and cheese are the best partners in the world.

    DFH 90 Minute and extra sharp cheddar. Raisin d'être and a blue cheese or Stilton.

    Aged gouda and beer (any will do). I really like the 1,000 day aged gouda from Trader Joe's.

    Not very picky when it comes with cheese and beer, I love em all.

    Cowgirl Red Hawk and a Barleywine
    Aged Cheddar, Goat cheese just about anything

    Explorateur and Ayinger Weizen-Bock. Big carbonation scrubs that triple cream cheese and the ester fruitiness gives much depth to the soft rind funk.

    We almost exclusively have blue cheese/gorgonzola at our tastings (and by tastings I mean 2-4 people, lol).

    Gorgonzola -> Double IPA
    Brie -> Belgian Dubblels

    Worked for me very well... :)
