Beer Blog on storing vertical v horizontal...

    Howdy,

    I remember quite sometime ago coming across an interesting beer blog where the author stored one bottle of a brew on its side and the other vertical (same beer, vintage, packaging, etc.) for an extended period of time, cracked them open during a tasting, and posted tasting notes. The notes were to show of course any differences in placement during aging.

    Has anyone else come across this blog? Trying to find it again...

    There was a cellaring blog called "The Beer Basement" or something very similar which has disappeared off the net - one of those generic "place holder" pages is all that's left.
