Hmmm. I grew up about 20 minutes from GR. It is definitely on the map now with the huge variety and very quality offerings. Founder's, HopeCat, Siciliano's, and the Winter Beer Festival highlight the city. But time to step the game up: Winning this means Grand Rapids will become a beer tourist detination more than it was before. Be prepared to impress, and for god's sake, open up some shit on Sunday downtown. That being said, good on ya, GR. My current state of Utah would have placed dead last on any beer list.

It's in Arizona and a top ten beercity in the US from what I've been recently reading. Very beautiful in July.

Burlington Vermont isn't on the list? . If the fact that Heady Topper, Hill Farmstead and Lawsons Etc. are about 20-60 minutes away makes them ineligible, then it makes sense. If its for any other reason then this is just unintentionally hilarious.

Ann Arbor made me laugh. Even by worthless Internet poll standards this one is poor at best.

    Terrible, absolutely terrible. Pathetic

I don't even get it. Is it a poll of 'if you aren't a real city that has great beer come here' ? I'd much rather go to Philly, San Diego, Chicago than any of these places.

Ok sorry guys. Now I do get it. It's beer city USA. Nothing better to do in these places but drink beer. Touche

Now I'm just being a dick. I take it all back , I want to go to Grand Rapids, Asheville, Kalamazoo, Portland, Denver.
But really, the BEST in this list is still hard to fathom

We are going to hunt down the 372 hipsters in Portland and shame them. Because Internet polls are so yesterday.

Who really cares? It seems that Michigan people had nothing better to do then stay home, drink local beer and vote! Great beer everywhere anymore! But how Grand Rapids beats out places like Portland, San Diego, Denver, etc is beyond me! And I loved GR!

Sorry, didn't even look at the list before commenting! Take all that back! 3 Michigan towns, 2 from Florida and even Phoenix cracked the top 10! Nuff said!
