Anyone going to the Beer Camp event today at the Crescent Moon?
Spotted bottles of Bourbon County Barleywine at O'Leaver's of all places last night.
Does anyone know if Stone Coffee Milk Stout is in Omaha yet?
If not, it is in Iowa.
Is anyone doing GNBF on Saturday? Complications have left me without a ride afterwards, and I'd happily pay $10 for a ride to 84th and Dodge rather than take a cab from Werner Park/Shadow Lake.
Sounds like Oskar Blues is shooting for a November launch
about damn time
any chance of incorrigible reserve getting here ya think?
Forgot to ask yesterday. I hope so but no idea.
Had fun "getting wild" at Beertopia's Sour Beer Day bottle share yesterday. It was nice to meet some like minded individuals and share some fun beers. Can't wait until round two!
What was brought to Sour Day? I wasn't able to make it unfortunately, maybe next time.
I got this from facebook.
Has anyone seen Friek at any of the Omaha Hy Vees recently? I know it hung around forever, but I can't recall where I saw it most recently. Thanks.
I saw it at Cubbys recently, but no promises as to whether it's still there. My 'second guess' would be Jake's or Stony Brook. Call before driving.
I know Cubby's is out
Not getting it
How is the craft selection a omaha 9 hy vee 180th and q???
Any lagunitas sucks around?
I saw sucks 32 oz'ers at both Beertopia and Brix today
Peony Park Hy-Vee for Sucks as well.
'13 bcbs and night stalker on tap at krug
Le Terroir is in. Sounds like FBS and Dark Penance should hit tomorrow.
I'll be in town from Seattle over the Thanksgiving weekend to visit my in-laws. If anyone wants to set up a in-person trade let me know. Have access to anything WA gets, and might be heading to PDX over Veterans Day. Kentucky Dark Star MIGHT be out before then, btw...
Hey guys, what is a good Homebrew shop in Omaha? Might be doing some brewing pretty soon and am looking to play around with some fun, funky yeast.
I would go to Patriot out in Elkhorn. Of the other 2 places in town one has very little selection and the other is run by a dick.
@BrettHead is totally right. Patriot or online. Feel free to ask questions they are very knowledgeable at Patriot.
The other two shops that can be used in a pinch are near 72nd and L. Fermenters Supply: http://www.fermenterssupply.com/ and Cornhusker Beverage: http://www.cornhuskerbeverage.com/
Patriot - no doubt! Matt is a good dude and knows his stuff.
Thanks for the info guys. Patriot it is!
Plenty of Bomb and some other good Prairie stuff over in Council Bluffs. Also picked up some CS Ride the Lion and Grass Roots Arctic Saison. One of the best selections of new stuff I've seen from them, cheers Brent!
awesome, any chance they have some evil twin too? havent been across the river in a month or so
at hy vee in mall of the bluffs im assuming?
They have an assortment of ET and Mikkeler stuff, but can't remember specific offerings from this trip.
They always have quite a bit of Evil Twin (Imperial Biscotti Break and Dougnut break being the most popular one's that I can think of that they currently have). And Yes the Mall of the Bluffs store aka @bditty187 's store :-)
Yep, plenty of Evil Twin stuff... lots of Prairie too and Thursday at 1pm we are selling Pirate Bomb (limit 2... @ $13.99 each).
very nice,,, I will be there, do you expect it to be something I would need to go early for? just curious as I will have to plan it around my lunch break ha .. thanks for the info
per your facebook page you can reserve bottles? is this accurate?
When does Founders Harvest arrive? One of my favorite seasonals.
Should be soon, I believe it was just bottled a few days ago
Any good bottle shops in Lincoln or do I need to just go to Omaha?
In Lincoln try Moran's at 35th and A, N Street at 19th and O, and the Still at 70th and Highway 2.
Has anyone seen Breakfast Stout at Hy-Vees yet? Not going to be by Beertopia in the near future but would like some for the weekend.
