Blind Tiger Podcast - News, Reviews, and all things Brews

(Shameless self promotion disclaimer: I am one of the co-hosts)

We like to do a lighthearted podcast with various segments. News, Current Events, History, Pairing Food & Beer. Our tasting segment is a feature called Beer vs. Beer, where the other host and I pick a beer (usually within a certain category) discuss it, and have our third host and audio engineer pick the "winner".

Our main podcast runs anywhere from an hour to an hour and half, plus we do smaller segments called "samplesodes" where we pick one topic or do an interview for about a half hour. We just got a chance to interview the Brews Travelers, two gentlemen touring the country and stopping at a variety of breweries.

The Brewing Network's podcasts are great. They have great guests & a ton of information.

The Beerists are very centered on tasting random beers but they do a great job of really picking apart the beers and keep it funny & entertaining.

The Beer Snobs: I have listened to a lot of these guys, but I remember it being pretty decent.

If you are into homebrewing, Basic Brewing Radio does an awesome job and gives lots of good info.

As far as Video & YouTube, etc. goes ... seems the main guys on there are:
    New Brew Thursday
    Hop Cast
    and... Beer Geek Nation

    Another (Shameless Self Promotion Disclaimer!):

I do a weekly podcast with a friend of mine called the Beer Time Show - The Show All About Better Beer Enjoyment.

We affectionately call it the Half-Ass Podcast for the Bad-Ass Beer Drinker. We release shows every Thursday. We mainly discuss beer styles, homebrewing tips and techniques, beer reviews and anything we think will improve your beer drinking experience. We hope to start doing some interviews soon. We are also very open to change & improvement. So let us know what you'd like to hear! We are on iTunes & Stitcher, you can check us out at beertime.net.

    Cheers,

You should check out Strange Brews. Chicago based. In a recent episode, they did a brewery trip through Wisconsin. Support public radio! The podcast is produced by my station, WBEZ.
