    Hey!

So, I'm going to be embarking on a Road Trip of legend: Starting in Boston and going as far as Vegas then back!

Anywho--I'm posting this in the forums of the states I'm passing through. In the case of this forum, I will be hitting up Austin, El Paso, Sante Fe and Sedona. After Sedona, I'm on my way to Vegas. I know Austin has a ton of breweries, so I was wondering which are key to hit up. Any other suggestions for good breweries to visit/brewpubs to refuel at would be great.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you so much!

Many of the Austin questions can be answered by searching through old threads (just search Austin breweries) and you will get pretty much everything you need.

    Hops & Grain
    Austin Beerworks
    Jester King

Are likely the main three....again, the search will go more in depth.

For brewery locations and hours throughout TX, use this:

It is every brewery in Texas and their hours. There are not many once you go west outside of central Texas.

Not a lot in Sedona, Oak Creek Brewing has two locations, one is a restaurant and the other is the brewery with a small bar and some snack food. Sometime the brewery has live entertainment on the weekends. Only one good dive bar in town that I know of that sometimes has some decent beers called Mooney's which is owned by a homebrewer who is a national beer judge so it is worth checking out on the chance there may be something worth checking out.

In Austin, you need to visit live oak brewing to try the world class hefe they produce. The best you can get without going to Europe. If you are in Austin over the weekend, Jester king is a must. 4th tap has been making some really interesting beers, along with adelberts if you are into Belgians. Pinthouse pizza is also really good, and blue owl will blow your mind. Those are my favorites, some will agree, some may not. Cheers!!

TL, DR: In Santa Fe, check out Second Street at the Railyard and Violet Crown Cinema, Whole Foods Cerrillos, New Mexico Hard Cider Taproom and the Draft Station over the plaza.

Santa Fe Brewing is cool if you feel like making the trek to it.

In El Paso you can check out Hoppy Monk and Block-Table and Tap right across from each other. You could always drive to Las Cruces and check out Bosque Brewing.
