A friend from Wisconsin loves his beer and breaks in to song often about his beer. He knows so many little ditties it’s mind boggling!

Here’s a couple to get started. Oh, and a “drunkin compilation”

Pretty much anything Irish, Sammy Hagar or Jimmy Buffett will do.

Strangest thing about that song - when they released the 45 in a picture sleeve, they obviously used a local brand, Falls City, from Kentucky for most of the cans (airbrushing out the brand name, leaving just a red oval), along with a Stroh's and 2 Falstaff's but only one Pabst Blue Ribbon can, but that's mostly obscured by that bag of chips. There's also a Pabst "COLD BEER" sign (upper left corner) but that, too, is only partially visible.

You'd think Pabst would have been happy to supply them with all the cans and bottles they needed.

For a country song, my first pick'd be ol' Hank's

I'd have my Chicago J card pulled if I didn't share this song.

    One closer to modern times.

John Barleycorn Must Die by Traffic is actually a temperance song. But it is an ancient English folk song that truly depicts the agricultural and social aspects of fermentables. I have loved this song for over 40 years.

Barleyjuice is a Philly area Irish rock band. They've been around for years and seem to be slowing down as they get older. The majority of their music has something to do with drinking, whether beer or whiskey. Dozens of drinking songs by a great band. I'd suggest looking up some of their stuff.

You should pull his Wisconsin card because this should of been number one on his list.

These are my songs. His ditties are from WI
Don’t know any of them but there just little sing songs. Sometimes he sings TO his beer. Too effin funny.

I listened to Glen C’s songs when I was growing up my dad REALLY liked beer. I come by it naturally.

Used to hear this song while washing my Dad’s GMC pickup. By hand.

He would sit in the yard and “supervise” ...beer in hand, classic country, beer drinkin - tear jerkin, music blarin!

    cheers

HAHAHA is right. Could opera songs be PROOF that beer is universal and the one true great unifier?

Well, that might be a tad much ;-)
