We'll be driving through and stopping at the Bruery to pick up some allocations, and I wanted to see if anyone had some tips on a good beer store or two in the area. + for closer to the highway as were heading NW after the stop.

    Thanks!

You may want to try Ramirez's Pico Rivera store. Today was their grand opening. Their LA store has been a mainstay for many BA's to pick up nice stuff. The Pico store is about 20 minutes from the Bruery without traffic northbound on the 5, so very freeway close and heading north.

They must have had 100+ bottles of Cantillons today, including some rare, coveted ones.

Yeah, if you weren't the first few in line, those were the ones left over. I probably should have said earlybirds got more limited, not rare Cantillons, btw...

Hacienda Liquor in Brea is the best beer store in close proximity to The Bruery. Check them out on Facebook, and tell Frank I said "hi."

    +1 Hacienda

There's also a Total Wine, BevMo, and Vendome all in the Brea/Placentia area.. but Hacienda is a must.
