Beer too strong for the picnic?

    That's my quandry...you hit it on the head. I'm used to brewing for home consumption (me and my brewing buddies). This was the first time that I "served" beer. It was well in range of what I normally brew, but typically I have one or two after my day is done and it's time to check out for the day (the weekend chores are done for the day, etc. Chain saws and power tools and beer? I don't think so.).

    I've been drinking the bottled portion of the batch...enjoying it, but two is enough volume. Back to the picnic scenario, maybe the optimum would be to have more options where one is a thirst quencher that doesn't knock your socks off.
