I find an ice cold Red Dog perfect for summer. It's my go-to uber el cheapo beer.

I'd say PBR, but I enjoy that shamelessly. My true answer though, is a bit complicated. I'm going to say Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. I say it's complicated because I feel like I should be ashamed based on the way people talk about it. At the same time, though, it does enjoy a perfectly respectable rating of 70/72 in the BA database. Should I give credence to the disparaging discussion and be ashamed, or should I trust the database and be okay with it?

I drank a Colt 45 the other day for the first time in probably 25 years. that Double Deuce went down nice, can't figure it out if it was the 95 degree heat or the walk down memory lane but it did the trick. I don't think I could face myself if I bought a case of it and put it in fridge tho.

    Nice!
I remember quite a few years ago now I ran across some Country Club and HAD to buy a couple 40s. Really don't remember how much I enjoyed it (so long ago) but if I see it again I'll buy some again just for the nostalgia.

Technically, it's a premium malt beverage: Cayman Jack Margarita.

Leaves you guilty, but you leave refreshed.

I could drink beast (Milwaukees best) all day. Same with natty. You'd think after living with 5 other roommates in college for two years that I would be sick of those beers. The 9.99 30 packs in college were awesome/liver damaging.

I wouldn't be ashamed of it. Even though, to me, it's a complete abomination and one of my few drain pours, it's one of those beers that are extremely polarizing... Love it or hate it and not a lot in between. One thing's for sure, if it was that unappealing BBC wouldn't be brewing it still, because people wouldn't be buying it.

There are times for every beer, and as such I am not ashamed of any of these. Coming in from mowing the lawn I am not likely to go for a stout tucked back in my fridge.

    Coors heavy (the banquet beer)
    High life
    Rolling rock
Miller light (tastes great in while floating in a lake)
    PBR
    The list could go on...

I think a more interesting thread which has probably already been done is one on a beer that you hate that has very high ratings...

Where I live the BMC crowd rules, and drinking craft is treated suspiciously. You should see their eyes when I come out to the adjoining patio with a BA Imp Stout in a snifter :grimacing::rolling_eyes::astonished:...Breaking down the walls, man...

Being mexican and growing up in SoCal, nothing like a tecate with lime and salt. Plus at family events everyone brings two 30 packs a piece, so there is about 1000 beers. Its almost undrinkable without lime and salt.

PBR when I am at the lake or doing housework. I feel bad if I waste a good beer in the heat and I forget about it in the sand. Or it falls in the river because I fell asleep on my raft trip with my arm hanging over...

Nothing beats a good old Natty Ice after a few hours in the sun on the beach. If some of the shower water gets in there even better.

I'm not ashamed to admit I like any beer. If you mean what trashy, low brow swill graces my beer fridge from time to time it would be MGD or MHL. I've also been known to throw back many a Corona Light while banging the beach. However...I'm not ashamed of any of them.

My first foray into the world of non-Bud/Coors/Corona was Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Since then my palate has expanded, but I will always have a soft spot for that extremely artificial, medicinal cherry flavor.
