I'm not ashamed - I'll drink a $3.00 pitcher of PBR if I'm broke, and like it.
While not "beer" per se, I'm currently sipping:
('11 caffeinated vintage, "cellared" since original bodega purchase.)
Sublime outta a gueuze glass.
ps Far from "ashamed"
killer coasters, BOBPINCH666
Yeah, he wants us all to float..
I love all the disclaimers on most of the posts " I drink X beer and Y beer but I dont care what people think and I am not ashamed because I'm a big tough guy and you all can't hurt my feelings"
I don't care what you love..I will shove a disclaimer down your throat along with some Boddington's.
I'm not ashamed at all to say I enjoy hamms. Easily my favorite "bad" beer. Along with PBR like others have said.
milwaukees special reserve - it tastes like apple juice. I do recall trying to dry hop this once through a french press, pretty sure it would be gross but who knows, thats the fun.
I'll drink Hoegaarden till I puke ,Then I'll drink some more.
Blue Moon is still a favorite warm weather beer for me.
I'm not ashamed. I had some crappy light lager beer recently and I...oh, wait a minute. No, I didn't. Oops. But I might someday, who knows, we might run out of better beer.
leienkugels (however u spell it) berry weiss. my woman drinks it, and i'll have one in between strong beers here and then. not ashamed though.
I'm not ashamed to like any beer (or food/beverage item, for that matter), but for the purposes of playing along with your thread:
Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic
I also really enjoyed the American flag Budweiser cans that were around last summer, and bought several cases of them. Marketing works!
High Life, Blue Moon , Shock Top, Gannsett to name a few
I'm probably the only person who doesn't mind Bud Light Lime. I wouldn't buy it, but honestly, if you think of it as Sprite instead of beer it's not that bad and pretty refreshing when it's ice cold.
oh man! This reminds me I still have a few of those caffeinated badboys that I completely forgot about. The last time I had a couple of these the next morning I felt like I got hit by a freight-train, so idk if I dare opening one anytime soon, lol
On a hot summer day, I can go for a lightstruck Heineken (only if well lightstruck though) because the skunkiness gives it a slight cannabis flavoring.
In an odd way, I kinda miss having a Zima every now and then. I liked it for a yard work "beer". And it made for a bit of a palate refresher at cookouts/parties/tailgates/other long-term drinking sessions.
Land Shark Lager at a Jimmy Buffett concert. It's part of the experience.
My avatar is a puple unicorn named Twilight Sparkle. I am not ashamed of the things I like.
Sometimes I feel like a 40 of Mickeys when I play video games. Something about the skunk and memories of my younger days.
Maybe a little off the beaten path, but I'd admit to Straub's. Guess I'm a little old school.
Miller High Life Light... in cans! Summertime, college, good memories!
I haven't had a Zima in at least 15 years (yeah, I'm old), I got hammered on that stuff as a kid at parties we'd have--I vaguely remember a shitty aftertaste with that stuff. I remember drinking those in High School and tossing the empties out the t-tops of my IROC-Z, I wish I was joking--man I hope my kids got my wife's genes, I was such an asshole in High School, LOL. That car was a lot of fun though, I digress!
Finally, another Hitchens avatar. Welcome.
Not ashamed to drink it because its great, however has a low rating on this site. Buffalo Bills Orange Blossom Cream Ale....so damn good on a hot summer day while grilling.
I like it mixed with there honey weiss
I have a strange compulsion to track down some Zima, I remember the ridiculous commercials from when I was a kid but never got to try it before it went under.
I don't always drink second rate beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis...and Imperial
In honor of this thread I just finished one:
I just thought of another shit beer I use to drink a lot of and I don't enjoy anymore, this one's a bit more obscure, but I use to have this stuff at my summer cookouts/parties:
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
No shame here, just beer.
I've been known to dabble in the High Life on occasion. Ashamed? NO!
The only thing I am ashamed for liking is the show "16 & Pregnant."
Mmmmm, Abita Stawberry Harvest. I could and have poured all 6 into a huge glass and consumed muy rapido!
Blue Moon. I'm not ashamed I guess and I really enjoy it.
Summer Shandy on a hot summer night.
Well...when I am playing in a softball tournament on a weekend where we are playing well and play 5 or 6 games in 90 degree heat....IMO nothing is better then an ICE COLD Coors light or even a Bud Light Lime
Molson Golden after playing hockey
a good ol Foster's oil can every now and then and some Tecate
busch light for a session
I'm always down for some Tecate, Lonestar or PBR. I also love me a Steel Reserve from time to time. I can't say I'm ashamed of liking any of those, but I know that there are people out there who would look down on me from White Whale buzzed pedestals while I'm getting tossed with friends.
I like just about anything if I give it a chance. I always enjoyed Corona. I even like light beers.
