Making its way to mailboxes, Android devices and better beer places around the US as I type ... BeerAdvocate magazine #76.

    About the Cover:
Precarious kegs and slippery floors are just a few of the accidents waiting to happen in a brewery. Turn to page 46 to read about more of them. Illustration by Thom Glick.

Wowza - excellent cover art. I'm looking forward to the Keeping Brewers Safe feature. I "worked" at a brewery for about a year as an assistant, but only got paid in beer because it was brand new. There were certain jobs the brewer wouldn't let me do, such as put the grates to the false bottom back in the mash tun, because "they could take your fingers off, and I don't think my insurance covers you."

It's an industrial job involving heavy objects, very hot objects, slippery floors and lots and lots of acid. I think people forget that.

I thouroughly enjoyed the article "Beer Bagger" written by Martin Cizmar. It certainly gives others insight what a person goes through in order to "slay the white whale". This relates to me as it is the same in the cigar/wine world.

after reading this article I emailed him and traded him a bottle of Ithaca Brute to help with his quest. Good guy.
