Nice, but i wish the back button would go back to search results after viewing a beer from a search.

On iPhone 5s with iOS 7.0.2.

I like the web app overall. Small complaints, but they do prevent me from preferring the web app over the site.

The active search field is very nice. I do think, however, there should be a search button or field at the top at all times; kind of a pain to hit the menu button then hit search.

How do I read the "Bros" review(s)? Other than manually finding it by going through all the user reviews.

Needs to be optimized for iOS 7, with the ability to go to the previous page by swiping from the left side of the screen to the right.

I'd be a very happy customer if those improvements were implemented. Thank you for all the hard work!

I believe that is the plan but with it in Beta, they are just providing it as a mobile site until it is ready to go.

It should work, if you visit the mobile URL using a browser on your WindowsPhone.

Few things I noticed. Maybe mentioned before, maybe not. (ios 7.0.3 iphone 5s)

    1) On a multipage forum post. If the little "page" dropdown happens to align with it being right over the username of who posted a comment. Tapping on the dropdown actually makes the user profile pop up.

    2) The page dropdown only shows so many pages, then the last page. So it sometimes will look like
    1,2,4,5,6,7,8,10. Which just looks odd.

While the mobile app works as I would expect, I am hoping for something totally different. Think Yelp or Urban Spoon.

I want an app that pulls up a map and shows all places near me that are serving craft beer and their ratings. You have the data, is integration into a map possible?

This is planned and we're playing around with mapping now.

Go to Places and then select Nearby. You'll need to have your GPS or WiFi enabled depending on your phone.

It's not allowing me to send a BM reply on the mobile site. Is anyone else having that problem?

It should. I just gave it a test a moment ago. Email us with more info; browser and any other related info that might help us troubleshoot. Thanks.

I was using google chrome on iOS 7 and it still wouldn't allow me to send replies. I switched to Safari and now it's working for me. I would be interested to see if anyone else had the same issue.

Been enjoying the webapp, however biggest annoyance is not being able to resume whatever I was doing when leaving the app...I'm constantly trying to retrace steps after answering a text or email

Speculation: at this point the boys are too deeply committed to their jquerymobile effort for this common sense to happen. Kinda sad as the technology and skill sets certainly existed, especially in Boston, long before they were advised this route.

I'm not an active participant in this community, but it is *the* leading voice in the gi-normous craft beer world and my go-to source (Thanks to everyone!!). Imagine the community's reach had this simple decision been made,

Is there any way to sort my Had's by date? I use BA to track all my beers and am mostly more interest in sorting by most recent, not by brewery. Also not having the ratings on the search really hurts it. Overall, it's better than nothing, but I still prefer using the desktop site on my phone, as imperfect as that method is

I recommend just clicking on the "Date" link which may already have a ">" character after it as it is by default sorted by date with the most recent at the top of the list.

Awesome App! Would there be any way for the date that each thread was last replied on to be posted with the title of each thread in the forums?

This is by far the most useful feature for someone with a smartphone. Can't remember how many times I've been in a random area and had to search out threads giving recommendations for stores/bars.

I use this for the simplest purpose - checking ratings when I'm shopping so I know what the BA's think before I spend. I don't like that the app re-sets to the home page whenever it is turned off or I use another app. At least having the ability to default to the search page would be great, if not the ability to remember last location for a bit.

The biggest thing that keeps me from using the app is I have no idea if someone has replied to a post or if I have gotten an email back, be nice to see a little (1) or something like the facebook app does when I have an email or reply. Sure all of this has been brought up but throwing in my two cents

I hear what you're saying; I've noticed the same thing. I saved a link to the search page (not the home page) on my home screen so even though I get kicked out right away, I can easily get back to the search page with just one click. It doesn't save where I was, but that's okay. Hope this helps.

Read through all pages of the thread and didn't see a mention of my biggest problem: I don't see any way to sort reviews. By default I sort " top reviewers" and sometimes click to high or low scores , I rarely want to see most recent as my sorting strategy. Is there any way to sort?

Also, the blank space in the top menu bar should be the search- 90% of the time when I'm firing up the site on my phone I'm looking up a beer - could easily save a step by making the search box omnipresent in that space.

I've initially tested this out in a smaller browser window (chrome) on my desktop and am quite pleased so far. It's much much faster overall. Very pleased. I'll keep testing on my various devices and let you know what I think after further use. Great job so far and keep up the good work! Cheers

Love it. Any chance of syncing with a location type service where it helps you find beers in your area?
