couple years ago Deschutes shifted Hop Trip from bombers only to six packs. Was a good move imo. 6 packs are the way to go. even better if they are cans.

I prefer to have 3 packs. easy on space in the fridge/cellar.

i guess at 10.79 a four pack is not to bad. I had I guess a fresh Brooklyn black CS last night and its no BS. In fact i was going to start a thread asking if anyone else thought it was a tad hot this year...still it think it was that way last yer and the year before etc. needs like a month or so to age.., I guess.

That's cool. I really don't know what bullshit smells like. Is it anything like cow shit?

I've noticed that with Samuel Smith's as well. There were some styles they had only in 550 mL bottles but have since been introduced in four packs.

Hop Rod Rye in six packs is awesome! Also, while everyone rates this beer highly, since it is mostly available it doesn't get enough publicity.

You hit my beer buying strategy on the head. But I don't mind if they don't go to 6 packs, it would just be nice to have 4 packs comparably priced per bottle with 6 packs.

I don't if it's a trend, but I just picked up a 6 pack of Velvet Merkin. Completely floored me. Didn't know that they came in anything else other than bombers...

I prefer 6 packs over an other format. Sometimes a bomber is too much and is priced higher. Buy in bulk to save!

Merkin only comes in 22oz bottles.

    For me 12 packs > 6 packs > 4 packs >>>>>>>>Bombers.

Now I understand when they are big beers IE Bigfoot that the 4 pack makes sense to get the a similar price point as a 6 pack of Torpedo. I love 12 packs since they are usually cheaper per volume than TWO 6 packs. I just don't care for Bombers.

It seems like 4-packs must be better beer (of course this isn't always true) but that is certainly the marketing message-
Imagine if CBS was in 30 packs of cans!

actually, whats the longshot samuel adams.i happened to see something about a pineapple ipa that sounded pretty interesting but do they actually sell 6 packs of that

Sam Adams sucks though. I bought the summer variety pack to surprise my friends, every beer in there almost made us puke. Only thing I would every buy from them is if they released a Hopology variety pack.
