Most of us have those beers that hold a special place in our hearts. And sometimes a few of those beers just happen to be some that many BA'ers can and do bash.

Maybe they are tied to memories or are apart of where you are now as a beer drinker. So what are some beers that you aren't ashamed to say you like?

Me? High Life and more proudly High Life Light. Honestly, when I was in college, I used to buy 32oz and 12 packs of High Life (and Light) all the time. Reminds me of Thursday night gatherings, Saturday pick-up football games, and Sunday NFL. It just takes me back to Fall in my early 20's. You don't have to think to hard with it. Is it great? Not really, but it doesn't have to be. It is one of those beers I haven't had in a while, and quite frankly, I plan to pick up again soon to revisit.

Say it loud, say it proud!

I'm not ashamed to say I like anything ever. I never understood the concept of "guilty pleasures" in regards to anything.

I guess a beer that many would be ashamed of drinking would be Labatt. I drink and enjoy that to an extent.

I listen to N*Sync and Backstreet Boys to this day. I eat Taco Bell and occasionally order Diet Mountain Dew with my order. I still like Pokemon games. I watch the Olympics. Hell, I bought Black Ops III this year, and I still watch The Simpsons.

I feel like these are socially acceptable for guys to drink, yet if a guy orders an Appletini at a bar, he's "gay."

Apparently if it tastes good, it's for chicks.

I guess that explains Bud Light's popularity with so many guys. I suppose I'm a female.

Boston Lager was the first public drink I got at a bar (in a casino) with my family after I turned 21. I like it on occasion, even if it isn't the best lager or amber beer. I also like a Miller Lite once in a while if other people are drinking it and there isn't any craft beer. I think Miller Lite has a nice hop bite to it.

I have enjoyed plenty of beer that was not 'craft." I started with heineken, pbr, corona, killians etc . . . I have enjoyed a few mexican lagers like dos equis and some euro lagers too . However I don't buy any of those any more because I have better options with craft. Now the one brand of beer I do actually still buy is Genesee.

PBR for taste and the occasional Budweiser for nostalgia.

You and me both. Sometimes, all I want to do is sit down and drink PBR. Locally, I do enjoy Rainer on a warm summer day, while sitting outside with friends and firing up the grill. Simple pleasures.

    Natural Ice.

I don't drink them often, but AALs definitely have their place in my beer realm, and for me this one fits everything that I look for in one: consistent, semi-flavorful, quaffable, inexpensive (~1.00 for 25oz), and calorie-alcohol efficient (~130 calories for 12oz of 5.9% ABV).

I often have to deal with some backlash when I proclaim it's positives, due to it's reputation. But, since I see such a miniscule difference in AALs, I don't see the rationale in paying close (if not more) than double that for a tall boy of something viewed as "better" or "premium" for the style (e.g. Labatt, Molson, PBR...hell, I even view things like Heineken and St. Pauli Girl in this tier).

Miller Lite after, and sometimes before, my ice hockey games. Hits the spot.

I always look forward to buying some Leinenkugel Summer Shandy! Always hits the spot when cutting the grass or grilling.

Guinness and ice cold Heineken. The two beers from the beginning that made me realize you can actually like the taste of beer

    Dark Lord.

It sounds like a lot of folks expect a hand to come out of the bottle and give them a special ending as they drink this beer. Just so much hate from people when it doesn't meet their expectation.

But not from me. It may not be the best stout or even in the upper tier, but I'll happily drink it every time I have an opportunity to.

One time I had a Bud Light Lime and didn't hate it. I left it at that though. No need for a follow up.
