Yuengling Lager... Given the choice of this and many others I would probably go for this first especially if I'm eating wings.

Drank and liked tons of Stroh's in college years (Morgantown/WVU '70s/80s) and drank and liked lots of Miller Lite when my last band was gigging 10 to 15 years ago. Haven't seen Stroh's since I moved to FL in the 80s; still like Miller Lite, but probably have had just a couple at bars in the last few years...

    Guinness.
    Yuengling.

Neither is a favorite, but both are decent. Guinness is also about nostalgia.

No reason to be ashamed of any beer imo, it's beer. Whatever floats your boat.

That said, High Life would be my go to when craft options are lacking.

I haven't revisited them since I got heavily into craft, but potentially:
    Red Stripe
    Guinness, but only on tap
    Sapporo
    Sam Adams Boston Lager

edit: hell, I'd probably drink a Stella too.

Summer BBQ'S I'll drink anything. Living in Louisiana when the afternoons are 100+ degrees, anything cold is refreshing. Bud Light, Miller, Coors, etc. I'll always buy a case of PBR if money's tight and have no problems drinking it even if not.

I will admit though since getting into home brewing I have not bought much cheaper beer. I can make a sessionable IPA/Pale Ale for about twenty five bucks for five gallons.

+1 on Coors Banquet. Love it in the cans or the old school bottles. Nice simple label too.

Bud light. Ill drink it any given day, all day. Grew up on it, the men in my family either drink bud or bud light while the woman all drink miller lite. Product of my environment i guess, to this day i find it weird when i see a man drinking miller lite, my brain just tells me its a feminine product.

Corona Light. Fizzy and yellow and fairly tasteless, but there nothing goes better with Mexican food.

Blatz is a verb too, as in "I got Blatzed last night".

Here's some favorites of mine, even though not hip or popular!

    Genny Cream Ale
    Olde English 800
    Mickey's Malt Liquor
    Colt 45
    Schlitz
    Schlitz Malt Liquor

And I love my IPA and my favorite imported and micros. I even like a wide range of music on vinyl. Even some easy listening and soft sounds. Call me what you want.
