I sometimes get shit for drinking Pilsner Urquell. But goddamit is that a great beer when found fresh. A new staple in my IPA heavy rotation.

I spent about a year in China and well until I found the craft beer scene in Beijing .....I would have to settle on Harbin. I won't lie....it is the Miller Light of China but oh so refreshing on a 40 deg C day!

Grew up on Budweiser. Even though I usually buy better local beer, occasionally a Bud hits the spot. I too am a devotee of Free & Cold. Lindeman's and Sam Adams Cherry Wheat are some other occasional almost guilty pleasures

All the "Japanese" macro stuff when eating sushi. I don't know if it's the flavor combo itself or the ingrained association, but I enjoy the crap out of it. I get Orion (which I believe is independently owned) whenever I can, but if not I'll have a Sapporo or two.

I know for some reason I've never understood, some craft beer drinkers look down at the Boston Beer Company with disdain. I like most of their stuff, especially the branching out that the company has done in recent years with getting out of their comfort zone and trying new things. So I am not at all ashamed to admit that I like most of the Sam Adams offerings I've had over the years. And I've had quite a few. As far as North American macros go, Labatt, Rolling Rock, Yuengling, PBR, Black Label, and Straub aren't bad. Not that I got out of my way to drink those very often, but if I want beer and there's nothing craft around at the time and any of these are available I'll happily have one or two or maybe more depending.
