Anyone see anything for this yet? Was released in early October last year.

Several things listed never happened last year and then there were several things that happened that weren't listed. I'd be interested to see what's in store for 2019.

There were some trademark issues on proposed releases that got in our way in 2018. 2019 will see Official plus Larry’s Latest Flamingo Fruit Fight Ale among others. Above my pay grade to give it to you in an organized manner. Plus, I like to keep some secrets.

I wouldn't blame Bell's if they don't release it this year. It sat on shelves for a while the last time it was bottled. I even remember that a number of people on here commented something like, "Black Note's OK but bring on BA Expedition".

I like BA Expedition as much as the next guy but Black Note is a great beer. But it seemed like Black Note carried a second tier status the last time around that I think was undeserved.

Yikes! I obviously can’t thumb type, and I should proof read what I do type! Sorry for the gibberish!

QFT, Bell’s is my favorite non Illinois Brewery, and Black Note my favorite Bell’s offering. They have a great tap room, definitely worth a visit if ever traveling near / to Kalamazoo.

Black Note is way underrated now. The expanded distribution last time it was released dit it.

I don't think any of Bell's BBA beers has ever shown up in the schedule. Their releasse is unpredictable, if at all, and the first bottles just show up in the General Store.

These Definitely don’t show up on the release schedule, but last drop of BA Expo was announced in here a week or so in advance by Mr Larry Bell himself, as I recall.

I mean, last time someone just asked and @LarryBell said something along the lines of, "Let me see what I can do." It continues to be the single greatest quote in my time on BA to date. So...I guess we could try that again.

That was awesome. My favorite though was when on a thread discussing Bells release of the Leaves of Grass series someone brought up the fact that Hill Farmstead had a similarly named series. The debate went on for like a page until Larry Bell posted that he had contacted Sean Hill and got his OK. Mic drop.

Grass Dividing has to be the worst beer Bell's has ever put out. It smells like an unkempt Kroger bottle return room and didn't taste much better.

Hey, if you aren't familiar with certain styles of beer it's OK to admit it.

I enjoy the style. Never had a gose that tasted the way a bottle room smelled. But somebody will buy it I guess :joy:

That's weird and seems edge-lordy hyperbolic. The pour I had at Bell's the other day was quite good, tart and refreshing.

Yeah that's what it is. I'm bashing a beer from my favorite brewery to be an edge lord. Not because it tasted the way a garbage bag smells

Same here, it tasted like a gose with some fruit, nicely balanced unlike a lot of the overly tart massed produced "sours".

Yeah he makes some great ones. Have you tried the industrial smog infused one? Or the one with the wiretap built right into the bottle?

Not sure if it might show up earlier in MI but their social media is saying not hitting distribution footprint until later in the month.

My father LOVES two hearted. While he is not super exposed to all the craft we are, anytime he has a two hearted he says, “This might just be the best IPA we can get (where we live.” (Although he thinks ZD is good, be does not seem to think it is good enough to justify the extra cost.)

Thanks for the heads up. Will have to buy this for him.

Your father know what he's talking about, not withstanding your "where we live" comment. Two Hearted is #1.

The “where we live” comment I adlibbed a little bit, because I know that he has not tried many of the great IPAs from all over the country. He likes a bit of malt with his IPA (which i think is why he likes 2 hearted so much), but his favorite seem to be true west coast IPAs. I have a feeling if he had fresh Pliny or blind big or any of those others, he’d just want them all the time.

That was all not to say that 2-hearted isn’t great. It is not my style (I am not big on IPAs, largely due to a bitter sensitivity), but I certainly know that it IS a great beer.
